“I’d shower, but I don’t want to go to my apartment.” She mumbled, falling back into the cushion of the couch. Of course she was tired, but knew tonight was going to be a rough night.

Joanna paused before answering, going through her foggy brain to remember why she was so tense. "Oh, yeah. I'm perfectly fine, I was just a little… worried I guess." She admitted, continuing to stroke his hair. "Just some of the guys there, were a little brutal with their words."

This made her rather uncomfortable, that much was rather clear to see. "It's just… the comments they made. And how they said them." She told him, attempting to brush it off. Right now, she didn't want to tell him what had happened, though she knew he would ask anyways.

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"well it sure seemed to upset you…Jo you know you can tell me anything…but I know it's your life so you don't have to tell me everything…just as long as you're okay I'm okay."

Tears sprung at her eyes, and her figure tensed up. "I…I'm not OK Tempest." Truth number one. "It's been bugging me for days, maybe even weeks now, ever since we started dating." Truth number two, and they were only still coming. "My life was terrible before you came around, I… I had almost nothing to hold on to." Her heart shattered, as she broke down into tears, still holding him close.

Tempest held her close and stroked her hair "hey it's okay Joanna let it out, let it all out…I'm here to listen…I'm here to comfort" he whispered, shifting into his canine like form to become softer and more comfortable to be clinging to.

Her crying was hiccuping sobs, clinging onto him, as if he was the most important thing in her life. Because he was. He meant beyond everything to her, never wanting to lose him. She may not make it if she did. "I-I-I can't anymore T-Tempest." She sobbed more, not sure why this was so bad right now.

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"it's okay if you can't Jo…you can stay here for now cause I don't want to be alone right now." He said to her as he held himself together for her benefit for it tore him apart inside to see her like this

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"Don't work and go back to school…and I mean it…I make more than enough money to help." He told her as he wiped her tears "I want to help you fulfill your dream."

"I…I can't-" She hiccuped, pulling back from him. "let you do that, T-Tempest." Trying to stop crying, she wiped the streaming tears off of her face. "N-no way I-'m letting you pay for me,"

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"But I can't stand to see you like this Jo." he told her as he cupped her cheek in his hand "I'm just using the extra money for stuff I don't need…come on…it'll be okay for me." he assured her

Sniffling, she didn't pull back from Tempest. Her heart ached at the thought of him helping her. "Y-yeah, but what happens when you start to have financial problems? B-because of me. What d-do you do then?"

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"Jo…why don't you move in? I know that'a a big step but…it I'm pretty sure money wouldn't be a issue then..just think about it okay? No rush…and if you still want to work for now just those guys them you're taken…or I'm gonna have some words with them."

Laughing softly, tears still streaked down her face. “I-I’ll do that Temp.” She whispered, so her voice wouldn’t crack. “I-I think I need some more time to think though, I’m not in my best emotional state.”

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"I know..so take your time beautiful….but for now we gotta start to get ready to get some sleep…it's about 2 in the morning." he softly said as he wiped more of her tears away

@Hybrid-Is-tired

"Yeah we should have." he agreed as he got in next to her, snuggling up to her "Now I'm really tired being in the bed." he told her as he pulled the sheets up
