Giving him a soft smile, she rested her head on his shoulder with a slight nod. "It's just hard sometimes… and I assume you know that." She whispered, taking his hand in her own. "Clearly you've gone through the same situation as me, and somehow you know how to handle it better than me."
“Different people handle it in different ways…nothing wrong with that. The reason why I was asking for your family ring is because I want it to be my ring and then you could have our family ring.” Raven took the ring out of his pocket. “It suites you.”
"I-If I had known earlier- I…" Sighing softly, she looked down at the ring. "I'm sorry, I didn't even think of that… I should have. My dad could have possibly had rings, I should have asked." Ira whispered, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "I might still have a chance to ask."
“It’s okay if you don’t, so don’t stress about it.” Raven smiled softly.
"I feel bad though, I should have at least thought about it…" She sighed studying her face under her blue eyes. "That was really crappy of me."
"Don't worry about it, promise, I'm okay." Raven kissed her lips. "I'm fine. I have to go change okay?" Raven got up and left the ring on the bed. Truth be told he felt guilty. Asking if she had a family ring and it turns out her mom left her. It feels wrong for her to still call her parents and then get into a fight and then end up crying the day before her wedding. It was all a chain of events. Raven turned around as he finished changing.
Ira frowned at his sudden getting up off the bed. “Raven, honey?” She asked softly, coming up behind him. “Did I do something to upset you?” Ira whispered, wrapping her arms around his waist.
Raven laughed. "Ira, princess, you did nothing to upset me, I just need to change out of sweatpants and a pajama shirt so I could go out and look at least half-decent. You did nothing wrong." Raven kissed him soon to be wife on the forehead, cheek, and lips. "Let's go downstairs, so my sisters won't walk in on us." He joked.
"But I like being up here with you…" Ira pouted, resting her head on his chest holding on even tighter to him. "Can't we wait, like five minutes? I just want to be with you for a few minutes… but I guess if we really have to, I can suck it up." She mumbled, tilting her chin up to look at him. "I know I'm being ridiculous."
"No, you aren't." Raven looked at the time and nodded. "We can stay for a little longer since you insisted." He chuckled lightly. Raven laid down on the bed pulling Ira with him.
Smiling softly, she lied down and curled up next to him. "I love you~" She purred, pressing her lips against his cheek. "I'll learn those three words in a dozen different languages to get it across to you, just so you'd know."
"Well, I already know how to say I love you in Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Korean, English, Thai, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, Bengali, and the list goes on." Raven sighed heavenly.
“Man… you should teach me sometime.” She laughed softly, linking their fingers together with a smile. “You don’t have to though. Just a thought.”
"It would be fun to. The reason why I learned all those languages is because of business. They're all from different countries. So you must know their langue and they might cooperate. Of course, not only that type of language you have to have a good argument as to why they should pick you over any other company. Body langue is important too. If you're moving around a lot it can show that your nervous. If you avert there eyes gaze then that shows your uncomfortable. You always want to have a strong assertive voice to show that your confident in your project or whatever deal your trying to make." Raven spoke.
“It sounds like you’re trying to pitch me an argument right now.” Ira hummed with a soft smile. “I really do love it when you start talking like that, it’s oddly satisfying. Though don’t take that as changing your tone, I like any and all of you. It’s all good.”
"My princess, don't be silly. What would the argument even be about?" Raven chuckled. "Besides, I only talk like this when I'm explaining things to you."
"Which I appreciate you take the time to do so." Ira hummed softly, going back to running her fingers through his hair with a soft smile. "Speaking of, do you have any immediate meetings when we get back home? Or did you think to take off an extra day or so, to be with me?" She hummed with a light smirk, and a raised brow.
“Actually, funny you ask, I did take an extra day off so I can be with you.” Raven kissed her cheek. “We have to clean up the Christmas tree anyway right? It’s probably dead by now…” he laughed.
"Mmm, I made sure to have someone come by and water it. It should be plenty alive when we get back." Ira smiled brightly, leaning in to the kiss he placed. "It'll smell nice at least, when we go back home."
Raven nodded. He looked up to the ceiling and yawned. “We should get going before I fall asleep.”
Pouting slightly, she nodded with a heavy sigh. "Yeah… we should." Pushing up into a sitting position, Ira slid off the bed after she had replied to his comment.
"Pick out a ring that stands out to you. For our wedding okay?" Raven grinned and did the same. He slid open the door and walked down the hallway.
Quickly she followed after him, taking his hand in hers. "Of course, I'm still sorry about the rings…" Ira whispered, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
“Don’t be when it’s not your fault.” Raven stroked her hair. “Let’s have fun today okay?”
A smile broke out on her lips, and she nodded. “Sounds like a great plan.” Ira hummed, pecking his lips.
Raven waved goodbye as they walked out the house. "Drive or walk. It's a pretty small town so it won't take us long to get we're going. Unless you want to go to Tokyo to get a ring."
"We don't need to go to Tokyo," Ira hummed, staying right by his side as they walked. "I'll leave it up to you, because I don't have an opinion."
"Alright then, let's walk. Did my sisters behave when you were picking out your dress?" Raven asked. "They didn't say anything embarrassing about me right?"
"No, no of course not…" Ira hummed, a slight smile creeping up on her lips. "Not in the slightest babe." She insisted, running her fingers through his hair slowly.
"They definitely told you something right?" Raven wined, scratching his head. "I know they did, you wouldn't grin like that if they didn't. What did they tell you?"
