Rose wasn't so easily fooled though and softly asked Yumi to keep working on Temp who as least still had a semi-steady pulse. Rose moved her wand from her friend to Dare as her eyes turned a pale purple, the yew wood in her hand gave off a light that matched her eye color "Are you quite sure you aren't playing the fool for us?" the light bathed across Dare's face, the light trying to peer into Dare's mind to pull any discrepancies between her words and her true intentions.

“Whatever happened, I never intended it to end like this. Really. Tempest has been nothing but kind to me since I met him, and it hurts to see him like this.” Everything that came out of Dare’s mouth was true, even if it was a little twisted. She squinted against the lavender light, still sensitive from her injury. “Please. You have to believe me.”

Yumi stood up and starred at Dare, slightly angry. “You left me, you left me abandoned. You promised you wouldn’t leave me by myself, yet you and Tempest got away from me, left me to fend for myself. You are lucky that girl found me.”
Yumi looked more aggressive. “First you go alone and get yourself hurt, then you leave me and try to kill Tempest.”
Yumi screamed. “OF COURSE I DON’T BELIEVE YOU! STAY AWAY FROM HIM!”
Tears formed in Yumi’s eyes as she screamed, she didn’t mean to sound that angry, but she got attached to Tempest fast, and felt safe around him. Yumi got back down and held the made from scratched bandages as she detached her chest plate, ripping of a piece of cloth from her shirt, and put it over the wound, under the leaves.

“And you think you know everything, don’t you? You idiot, you have no idea what you just walked into!” Dare yelled, pulling herself to her feet unsteadily. “I was so close to making it home, and then Tempest had to interfere and you two morons show up. Why can’t you just let things be, goddammit! I was gonna go home!” Clutching the tree for support, Dare was barely able to support herself and her screams nearly knocked her to the ground.

There was then the sound of crunching leaves and a voice that sounded if lavender had just a pleasant sound as it did a scent, a mask of the true intentions behind it "Dare my little one?…Those were gunshots I heard correct?"…Dare and Rose would know this voice, for it had terrorized Haven for as long as Rose could remember. This was the voice of the man that had killed it's leaders and left it's fate in the hands of their offspring, their children: The Daniels siblings, one of which was currently conflicted on letting go and fighting on, just wanting to keep his friends safe…even if they make mistakes.

“Yes, those were gunshots. I’m so sorry—Tempest electrocuted me, then removed your gift. I couldn’t stop him,” Dare said, her voice raw. She dropped to her knee and bowed her head, out of both exhaustion and subservience. “I failed you,” she mumbled.

Rose rose and looked around at the surrounding brush and trees "Then come on and show your face, so it yourself instead of sending others to do your work!" Rose couldn't hide a slight tremble in her voice as she held out her wand "You know…you humans are so easy to seduce…one simple…lie is all it took to get one's morals to change so quickly." his voice seems to come out of several directions. "That gift was a death sentence…but that damn boy removed it before you could kill him. Never mind that now for you have brought me Two Haven members. Their co-leader hanging to life by less than a thread and their mage…even in failure you have done well."

Dare looked up. “You… weren’t gonna let me go home?” she asked pitifully. “I don’t care if I die, I just need to say goodbye. Look at how well I’ve done. Let me go home and see my uncle one more time, and if you do, I’ll let you kill me and revive me as one of your servants and I’ll serve you forever.” Dare really didn’t care about her moral code or what was ‘right’ anymore. She just wanted this whole thing to be over once and for all.

"You think we'll even have use for you? You've done your part silly mortal!" a little giggling voice said emerging from the brush. It was Jester that Johnathan had fought before, along with another shadow warrior that was nonspeaking, dressed in ancient hunting robes worn from the years, a bow in their hand along with a bit of shadow matter shaped into an arrow notched. "Kill them…bring me the Haven member's bodies."

Yumi looked down at a Tempest, in complete silence. She put her index finger on his chest, where his heart is, and felt him leaving. She couldn’t believe it. She was right, everything she does is stupid and useless, sure she can build and can solve things, and somewhat tend to wounds, but all she has to defend herself is a stupid katana that will never help her. Yumi felt tears run down her face, her expression disappeared completely. It was expressionless, all that has there was subtle tears slowly going down her face.
“I-I’m sorry Tempest…” She whispered. “I can’t help anybody… no wonder you left… I can’t even treat a wound properly…”

Dare grabbed the empty syringe and whispered a command. It spiraled out into a silvery shield and she remained crouched against the tree. “Between a corpse and a shadow warrior, the latter sounds far more useful. I’m willing to do whatever it takes,” she called from behind the shield.

Rose let out an inhumane growl as she stood to her, snapping her wand in half and jammed the crystal like core into his largest wound. She extended her hand and a wooden staff shot from her sleeve it had a heart like shape at the end like an arrow tip, and the staff defiantly was not there a few seconds back and stood "We've sacrificed too many friends..too many family members…I'm not gonna let you take any others away…even if some of them are acting pretty damn spineless right now!" she glared at Dare's shield a second before turning and charging the two shadows, slashing at Jester and pushing the silent one back. Jester leapt backwards and let out another little giggle while the mute one stumbled and fell onto their bottom.

and any others I am forgetting, Please confirm that you are still part of this rp for there are very little of the original 'cast' is rping so I just need to know so i can…'clean out' anyone that is not rping.

Jester leapt backwards and let out another little giggle while the mute one stumbled and fell onto their bottom.

“Spineless? I resent that! Watch it, Glowworm!” Dare called from behind her shield. “I have people who need me back on Earth, so forgive me for not really being too concerned with random folks I’ve know for less than a day!” she snarled. “Zerack, your underlings don’t speak for you. The deal is still open!”

Dare felt the mark on her hand change and reburn into her hand into the roman numeral for 5. Somewhere here two of the hunted had had their life taken, not that any Haven members would know that yet. Tempest on the other hand slowly started to sit up, light-headed and feeling like he had been used as a tiger's chew toy. He tired to stand up but feel back down, trying to keep the wand core in his wound as smaller cuts started to close. Rose shot a spell at the mute warrior which caught them in the chest and sent them sprawling across the snow. Jester slashed at Rose, leaving a thin cut for she was a bit tougher than a normal person having protective spells and hybrid dragon skin.

Dare winced as the brand on her hand morphed and reburned itself into her flesh. She absently thought that either two of the prey had either died or gone home, the latter being far less likely. When she saw Tempest wake up, she rapidly scooted away from him and hid herself behind her shield. “Seriously, Zerack!” Dare yelled weakly. “Help me and I’ll be of great help to you!”
