"I still want to make sure myself." He hummed, pecking her cheek.

She smiled " let me finish you up" she said

"Fine, fine." He chuckled, sitting back on the edge of the counter. "Do you have bandages for my back? That's what hurts the most." Brad informed her, running a hand through his short curls on the top of his head.

"I know baby I'm sorry" she said tears welling up in her eyes

Looking to her, he frowned softly. "Hey, hey, what's wrong?" He asked weakly, cupping her cheek to wipe her tears away. "Is it something I said princess? Something I did?"

" it's my job to keep the tigers in check but I couldn't I couldn't control my sister and because of that five people are hurt I couldn't even protect my own boyfriend" she said

"Princess, there was nothing you could do. Jane is literally insane, even if we weren't dating, she probably would've gone rouge." Brad whispered to her, kissing her cheek. "If Arrow hadn't said where I was, then I would be safe. So would my sister, and whoever else got hurt on the way. This had nothing to do with you not doing your job. There's a lot more to it than that."

A tear rolled down her cheek " she got Lily"

"Was that your fault though?" He asked softly, pressing his forehead to hers. "I'll tell you, no. It wasn't. If you weren't around, or even if you were, there was clearly nothing you could do babe."

"but I was there" she said

"Could you do anything? Because I know you would have, if you could have." He told her, sweetly kissing her lips. "You can just take me to the hospital, and we can get me fixed up there. You can go see Lily."

She shook her head "you don't need to go to the hospital we can…. Henry!"

"But babe, I want to go with you." He pouted, tilting his head down to the floor. After being called, it only took a minute for Henry to come back to the room. "What's up Caro?" He asked softly, a slight smile on his face.

"can you take care of Brad for me? 'she asked in a sweet gentle voice

"But Princess~" Brad whined, attempting to pull her closer to him. With a slight roll of his eyes, Henry chuckled coming over to the two. "Sure thing boss, though Maggie might need to help me out once she's finished with the others."

She nodded she leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her boyfriend's head

"No~" He pouted, sighing softly. "I can't stop you… can I?" He mumbled, nuzzling her cheek with his nose. So badly Brad wanted to go with her, but he wasn't going to push more than once.

"Brad you can barely move without wincing I'll be back I love you" she said

Giving her a sigh and a nod, he pecked her lips softly. "Love you darling, stay safe." He purred, laying back to look up at the ceiling. When Caroline came up to Henry, he put an arm in front of her to stop her. "He really loves you, huh?"

She looked back at Brad then at Henry and nodded

"You're a lucky girl Caroline, I hope you know that." Henry whispered to her, pulling his arm down so she could go. "I'll see you later." He hummed, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek before shuffling over to where Brad was laying.

Caroline had gotten to the hospital rather quickly she quickly told the secretaries who she was and some nurses led her to Lily's room and she sat in one of the chairs by her bed

Once the nurses were gone, and the room was empty besides Lily and Caroline, Lily seemed to freak. "Jane! She… she going to hurt Brad, and… and…" The poor girl seemed terrified, tears beginning to streak down her face as she attempted to talk to her sister.

"hey!" She cooed stroking her sister's hair"it's all right"

"B-but, Collins! Sh-she was going after…. after B-Brad and Collins." She continued to panic, gripping onto her sister's shoulders. "We need to protect them! Sh-she can't get to them. We can't let her."

"she already did" she said

Gasping sharply, she held her hands up to her mouth. "N-no… ar-are they OK?" Lily asked weakly, tears streaking down her cheeks. "She didn't… she didn't kill them did she?"

"they're okay" she said

"I was trying to tell you, I promise I was. Did they get hurt? Is Collins here?" Lily asked softly, very delicately wiping the tears that had fallen down her face. "Are you alright?"

"Jane removes her tattoo I was saving Brad shot her in the knee she shot me in the shoulder" she said
