She bit her lip. “Is there anything I can do?” She asked. She checked the time. “It’s safe to take some more pain killers soon and I still have a few hours until work.”

"Not really," Lotus shook their head, "But, pain killers would be nice."

Cat nodded and reached to get her bag. She pulled out the bottle while still holding lot.

Lotus took the bottle and took out two pills. They didn't even bother to grab their water swallowing the pills dry.

Cat at smiled weakly. She put the bottle back in her bag. “There now you can relax and see if they kick in. Is the heat pad ok?”

"Mhm," Lot nodded and snuggled up against her.

“I love you,” she whispered. She wrapped her arms around them again.

Lotus hummed and let out a long sigh, "I, I love you too."

Cat held them close and closed her eyes. She held them impossibly closer.

Lotus melted against her. They kept their eyes open and grabbed for the remote, “TV okay?”

Cat nodded. “Yeah whatever you want,” she said opening her eyes.

Lot nodded and turned the TV on before channel surfing. The door jingled slightly as it opened Myrah stepping into the house, "Oh hey Cat. Hey Lot."

Lotus gave her sister a hum of acknowledgement.

“Hey.” Cat waved at her. She was still holding Lot close. Her head rested on her shoulder.

"Cramps?" Myrah asked looking to Lot who nodded. They were relaxed even if they were curled up on Cat, "Okay. Cat, if you hurt them, I hurt you. Got it?"

Lotus rolled their eyes, "My, that's. That's not necessary."

“Yeah yeah don’t worry I wouldn’t dream of hurting them,” she said kissing their cheek lightly.

Lot hummed and leaned against Cat smiling. Myrah had a slight grin, "Good. I'm heading to my room. Lotus, don't murder anyone."

"I'll try not to do anything."

Cat smiled and kissed their cheek again. “Don’t think we’ll be doing much moving Never mind murder,” she said smirking slightly.

"I've always got to check," Myrah responded leaving the living room. Lotus melted against Cat. They rolled their eyes just slightly.

Cat just laughed quietly. She tucked some heat behind Lots ear and looked at the tv.

Lotus hummed and snuggled against Cat. They let out a quiet sigh, "At least she went to her room."

Cat nodded. “Yeah but I like your sister she seems…bold,” she said laughing slightly again.

Lotus laughed a little and nuzzled up against Cat, "Yeah, she does tend to be like that. A lot more threatening Sam was."

Cat raise an eyes brow. “Sam? What did he do?” She asked holding back a laugh.

"Oh the same thing My just did, except he looked like a kitten," Lot responded shrugging their shoulders slightly.

Cat laughed slightly and rolled her eyes. “Yeah. There was a spider in his room last night and I had to try and kill it. Then he yelled at me that I should let it free outside,” she said smirking some more.

Lotus laughed a little at that, their mood seemingly getting better, "That sounds like a Sam thing to do."

Cat nodded. “Yep. He’s honestly great. This has to be one of my favorite homes in awhile,” she admitted holding Lotus close. “Mainly because I met you though.”

Lot's face turned a faint red hue to Cat. It was a darker shade of gray to Lot, "Um, really?"

“Yep,” She said smiling Lots blush. She kissed their cheek. “I definitely wouldn’t of lasted this long if it wasn’t for you.”

Lotus curled up and buried their face against Cat, "Mmmkay. I, sure. Thanks."
