”Mama?” Laura-Beth said softly, looking up from her toys in the living room.

She walked out of the house after giving her ring to Tyler and walked out to the.storm slamming the door behind her she was too angry to interact

”Mama!” Laura-Beth called after her, standing up as she wanted to go after her mother but she wasn't allowed outside when it was raining.

Lysander looked up when he heard his daughter's cry and the door close. Deciding he was calm enough he headed downstairs.

Tyler opened her palm and looked at the ring in it

Lysander looked around once he came to the living room, checking for either of his girls when he saw Tyler.

Tyler looked up at Lysander

Lysander looked back at Tyler. ”Did you see where Betty went?” he asked. ”I heard the door.”

Kyler didn't answer just look back down at her open Palm where the ring set

Lysander followed her gaze and froze. ”Why do you have that?”

" she gave it to me" she said

Lysander blinked for a second and quickly grabbed the ring and sped out the door, looking for Betty.

Betty was by the lake by Henry's house

It took a little while but he finally arrived at the lake.

She sat by the edge her knees pulled to her chest and her arms wrapped around her legs crying softly with her head barried in her knees

He walked up behind her but didn't sit down yet. ”Why did you leave?” he asked.

" why did you come after me?' she asked crying

”When have I not?” he asked. ”You left this behind.” he said, lifting the ring.

”Why?” he asked.

¨I Didn´t want it¨ she said coldly

”Why not?” he asked, water starting to steam off of him. ”Do you not love me anymore? Or do you think every time Marie shows up that I'm going to leave you?”

Betty sighed looking off into the water

”Which is it?” he asked again.

She stayed silent looking at the water which from the moon reflected herself

He sighed and sat beside her. ”Please talk to me, darling. I don't want to fight. I just want to understand.” he said, a little calmer.
