In all seriousness though. The virus doesn't scare me, because I might die from it. That's unlikely. What I am worried about is possibly exposing my sisters who have lung problems and have weaker immune systems.

This. This is why I'm scared, too. I have a bunch of friends with asthma and generally get sick a lot but I'm usually fine. I probably wouldn't even show any symptoms and I'm scared that I'll give it to someone without even knowing. Then again, I'm not seeing any of my friends for a while because school.
Also because my grandmother has lung cancer, my grandfather is in remission from liver cancer or something, and my other grandmother… I don't even know what's going on with her, but I know she wouldn't be able to pay for anything and she has really bad insurance (even though insurance is supposed to cover the actual treatment, it won't cover getting tested for it from what it sounded like, and it also sounds like it's really expensive and hard to get tested in Missouri).

I asked my friend why she consistently goes to bed at 1 am (she consistently gets four hours of sleep every night and thus quotes tumblr out of context. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes not) and she said "melatonin doesn't taste as yummy as it used to, so I just think 'I'll fall asleep on my own.' And then I don't."

Tell her to try some of that sleepytime tea stuff. When I stopped taking melatonin that helped me fall asleep.

MD’s got two weeks off starting Monday

this whole situation just feels so weird, like all my friends are so worried they aren't gonna be able to see their friends, go to school, or even leave their house for months, and then there's me, i've been doing this my entire life, it's all i really know, and so now i don't know how to feel about it

So when we got the news that school was closing down my friends and I were pretty happy bc we had a science test that none of us studied for being postponed then at lunch we were all on the verge of a mental breakdown so after lunch my friend and I decided to browse memes to confuse ourselves so we don't break down and the effects are catching up to me and I kinda feel like crying now
