He returned the hug with a grateful smile. "Well, I need to get back to work and you should too. Gotta get done if we want to get home in time for you to get ready before Jackson shows up."

Logan laughed with a light blush "you make it sound like a date, we're going out to meet him, not to pounce like a tiger." he called, Catherine the final photo's so they could be put into the system "See you soon!"

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say!" He laughed, shaking his head before turning back to the images. This one he wanted to be extra careful about. Which is why it took him an hour and 45 minutes to pick.

Raz packed up his things as work dwindled, bouncing his leg in anticipation as the seconds ticked by until he was let free. Making his way to the elevator, he landed at Logan's studio just as the other was packing away the photo's and closing all the tabs on his computer
"Hey! we're almost ready to go, just give us a few seconds to pack up." Logan called with a happy grin.

Jay was lying on the floor, rubbing his eyes. "My eyessss, they burnnnn." Sure, he was being dramatic but after staring at the same images for almost two hours, his eyes definitely hurt a little.

"How do you think i feel?! I've been blinded by flashes and computer screens for the past 5 years!" Logan complained with his cheeky smile. Raz rolled his eyes a the two with a laugh "This isn't as bad but I can't read anymore, all he words start blueing together. He went over to Logan and gave him a hug before walking over to Jay and sitting beside him, leaning over to give him a kiss. "Ah so I see Lo made you do the hard part, huh?"

He pulled his hands away to look up at him with a pout. "Don't laugh at my pain. But yes, he did." He smiled a little, sitting up and pecking his lips. "Now then, we've got plans."

Raz shook his head before standing and shouldering his backpack "yes we do! Lo ya ready?" he called over his shoulder before scanning the room in worry "Wheres the coffee you promised not to let hm drink?"
Raz rattled the half empty cup "here, seriously. It's fine Raz i'm a responsible caffeine addict" he grinned and waved them to the elevator.

His phone buzzed and he jumped in surprise. He relaxed when he saw it was Jackson.
Marshmallow: Hey, we still on for tonight?
Marshmallow: It's okay if you have to cancel, it's no big deal.
He chuckled to himself, Jackson was always worried.
Jay: No, we're still on. Take a deep breath and chill.
He pocketed his phone and followed the other two.

Once at home, Raz dropped off his things and went to the bathroom to quickly shower and change while Logan took the majority of the time to figure out what the heck he was going to wear. Seriously, it's a process….
"Hey Jay?! do you know if we're going to a fancy place?! or is it more casual?! it there such thing as a casual crop top?!"

"Jackson isn't one for crowds so it'll probably be somewhere more casual. However, knowing him, he wants to surprise us so I'd go with business casual. And yes, there is such a thing as a casual crop top." He laughed.

"business casual….I think i might have something…" he said to himself, pulling out one of his suits and a simple whit shirt that ended at his waistline, nothing too revealing but also something that felt more his style than a full on suit. Logan kicked Raz out once he had showered, barely letting him wrap a towel around himself before shutting the door behind him. "Don't take an hour Lo!" he called with a small smile, glad to see his friend so excited. Raz made his way to the bedroom and pulled out clothes to change into.

Jay wandered down the hall next to Raz's door though he restrained himself from looking in. He knocked on the wall next to the door. "What's cookin' good lookin'?" He chuckled.

"Give me a sec love. Don't you dare come in, I will throw something at you!" he warned, coming into view as he buttoned up his shirt, leaving the last button open. "too much?" he asked, turning in a circle. He had paired the grey shirt with black pants.

"No, I like it. But now I feel underdressed. Hold on, give me a second." A red mist enveloped him before disappearing in an instant, leaving him dressed in a white button down with a black suit jacket and black jeans. "Good enough."

Raz glanced over at the bathroom door as Jay changed, worried he might come out and see jay. To his relief, he didn't and raz focussed back on Jay as the mist disappeared. "that's almost as unsatisfying as a closed door, love." he teased, pressing kiss to his cheek "you look great, now we have wait for the main event. I'm curious to see how he'll pair a cropped shirt with a suit."

"If you wanted me to strip, you could've just asked." He chuckled with a wink. "But Jackson will be here in a bit, then we can go. I'm excited, I really think they'll get along well."

Raz shook his head with a laugh of his own and pulled jay to the living room "you told Jackson to keep his abilities hidden right? I'm still not sure how to tell logan what you guys are without upsetting or scaring him."

"Yes yes, I did. I'm not that irresponsible, love." He rolled his eyes with a smile. "We'll have to tell him one day."

Raz sat back on he couch "I know, i just want to ease it on him. I'm scared he'll leave or something if he finds out the wrong way." he bit his lip anxiously before looking up "what if he leaves even if we do tell him gently?"

"Raz, love, take a deep breath. You're thinking months, maybe even years into the future. Focus on the here and now."

Raz did as told and brought his knees up to his chest "I'm trying…I hate keeping this from him." he glanced around the room and shook his head "I don't want him to hate me."

(I have an idea. So, according to time, these two have been together for like 8 years. What if Jay proposed? If we're going by his character, then it would kill him to have to leave his love again, it'd make sense for him to)
"I know, I don't like it either. But it's for his own safety. Unlike you and I, it wasn't love at first sight."

(yeah it makes sense!oooh I like it! )
Raz sighed, knowing he was right and nodded "we'll wait a few months then tell him. Just so he's more comfortable around you." He reasoned. relaxing slightly and nodding to himself

(Yayyyy! Now I have to make a proposal speech in 5 minutes, wish me luck)
"Yeah, definitely." He tapped his foot as he continued to wait. Even though it wasn't obvious, he was nervous. Not just for tonight, but for something very particular. Jackson was coming up not for a meeting but because he was trying to convince Jay to propose. He'd even gone so far as to help him pick the ring. But now all they could do was wait.

Raz took Jay’s hand in his hand rested his head on his shoulder “are you okay? I know I’ve been worried about Logan and everything but I want to make sure you’re alright.” He looked up at Jay and nudged his head

"Hmm? Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little nervous about tonight." But because I'm going to ask you to marry me. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself.

“Don’t worry, love. I’m sure Logan and Jackson will get along just fine. He kissed his cheek and looked up as Logan came in. “H-how do I look?” He asked. Logan’s chief and pants fit snugly around his body while the blazer flared out a bit. He looked professional and adorable in his own way. Raz smiled and nodded “perfect!”

"You look good." He nodded with a smile. Just then, there was a knock at the door. "There he is." He opened the door and stood behind it was a guy in white button down with a light blue suit jacket and light blue jeans with a blue rose in his hair. Speaking of which, he had light brown hair and bright blue eyes and freckled pale skin. He wore a nervous smile. "Hey Jackson! Come on in." He stepped inside and waved to the two.

Raz stood and looked over at Logan when he stood slightly behind him, peeking over his shoulder. “Lo, don’t be nervous.” He offered a smile and looked up when he saw Jackson. His smile o lay grew when he heard an audible gasp from Logan as Jackson entered the room. Raz waved “hi Jackson, I’m Raz and this is my roommate Logan.” He tried to introduce, though Logan remained in place for a few more seconds, just staring at the newcomer. When he realized he was being weird, he stepped up and gave a little wave “uhm, hi.”
