“You did… but don’t let it go to your head.” Ira smiled softly, slicking his hair back.
“You did… but don’t let it go to your head.” Ira smiled softly, slicking his hair back.
"It's already there." Raven hopped down from the counter. "Almost done?"
"Yes, in fact I am done." She smiled softly, pressing his lips to his. "Should we call everyone down for breakfast?"
"Let's get our food first." Raven sat down at the table and took the food he wanted. "Trust me. You'll thank me. They eat the food like there's no tomorrow."
"I'll thank you later. Right now I'm hungry." She hummed, sitting down at the table, patting the seat next to her. "You get food first."
Raven sat down and grabbed his food. "I'll call everyone for breakfast. "It's breakfast time!" He yelled. You could hear foot steps coming down the stairs. It was like a stamped actually.
Ira tried to keep from laughing, sipping on the water glass. "I see what you mean," She hummed under her breath, before eating slowly.
"Do I get a thank you?" Raven mumbled. They all said thank you and started eating. "I meant from Ira." He chuckled lightly.
"I'll give you a thank-you later." Ira hummed, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "A proper thank you at least."
Raven shook his head with a grin as he ate. “If I hadn’t warned you, you wouldn’t have gotten eggs.”
"I know, I know." Ira snickered, pushing her water glass aside with a soft smile. "And I promise I'll make it up to you."
“Mmmm. You now owe me two favors. You still have three wishes.” He whispered.
"I thought I had four?" She hummed flicking his chin. "Besides, what's this other favor you're talking about?"
“You said you’d make it up to me so that means a favor unless I miss read. No, you still have three.” Raven protested.
"But what about the wishes on the plane? Huh?" Ira hummed softly, cupping his cheek in her hand. "I also meant the first one."
"If You have four wishes than I get two favors." Raven ate some of his pancake.
“Alright, we’ll work this out later.” She hummed pressing a kiss to his cheek. “I love you.”
"Love you too." Raven continued to eat. He soon finished and put his plate in the sink. "Almost done?"
Finishing off her food, she nodded with a soft smile. "Yup, all finished."
"Ira, do have a family ring?" Raven asked walking up the stairs.
Freezing up just a bit, she slowly followed along behind him."Well, yes on my mother's side… but… umm…yeah." She stammered, walking pass him.
"But what? Is you mother not coming?" Raven asked, confused.
“Uhhh… no… I- I don’t think so…” Ira mumbled a bit, biting into her lower lip.
"Why?" Rave opened the door to their room and slid the door closed when Ira was in.
"It's… it's kinda complicated…" Sucking in a deep breath, she sat on the edge of the bed not looking as bright from before.
"Well, I mean there's nothing that's not complicated. Just tell me." Raven sat down next to Ira and held her hand.
Taking in a deep breath, she nodded softly. "Mom and dad split up when I was a teenager. I haven't talked to, or seen her in years."
"How do you know she doesn't want to talk to you?" Raven asked.
"Because she never called me. I have no way to contact her, she just disappeared off the face of the earth." Ira mumbled her response, attempting to mask her emotions about the whole situation.
Raven placed Ira on his lap. "Hey, if she left the most beautiful, smart, lovely kick-ass woman that's her fault for not seeing that. It's her loss. She can't be a mother to you anymore because she never really raised you. Your dad can take the credit for that. If she didn't raise you, she's a stranger. Even though she left you when you were a teen, you've had years of happiness without her. You have us. You have my family. You have your dad, your brothers, your sisters, cousins, aunt, uncles, and you have me. Just like my dad who left he's a stranger to me because he left my mother to fend for yourself and she did it. She's a happy Mother with like 9 kids. That person who left…I don't know him. It's going to stay that way."
