"And I am, and will be. I'm not complaining, just pointing out the facts." She hummed, pressing a few soft kisses to his back and shoulders. "You know it's true."
"And I am, and will be. I'm not complaining, just pointing out the facts." She hummed, pressing a few soft kisses to his back and shoulders. "You know it's true."
"I know what is true?" Raven started to make eggs. "Scrambled or sunny side up?"
"Scrambled," She hummed, pulling out of the hug so she could watch him. "And that your sisters would, and will drag me around tomorrow until it's time for me to walk out on the isle."
Raven nodded. "They're going to be getting you ready. Just like my brother's will help me. Sadly, I won't wake up with you because my family has this rule that you can't see the bride till the wedding."
"Isn't that everyone's rule?" Ira asked him with a light laugh. "And I'm pretty sure you can't see me, until I walk down the isle." She whispered, pulling herself back up on the counter.
"Not necessarily. People still wake up next to each and sometimes that see each other before the wedding." Raven finished the eggs and was now on bacon, "Can you set up the table please?"
“Of course honey,” Ira hummed softly before beginning to pull out plates. “How many?”
"11 please." Raven watched the bacon and Ira as she set the table.
Pulling out about half of what she needed, and carried it over to the table. “Thanks babe.” She chirped, setting the plates in a table.
"For what?" Raven asked, flipping the bacon
“Telling me how many people to get for.” She hummed, setting each plate out evenly. “You’d think I would know by now.”
Raven smiled softly. "My siblings just keep coming in so it's not your fault. I promise there are no more coming."
“You’re sure? I don’t know if I could handle many more.” Ira teased, coming back to get more plates.
"Trust me. No more siblings." He finished with the bacon and began to set up the food in the middle of the table.
"Alright, alright. Do you need help with drinks?" Ira asked him softly, holding onto his arm loosely when he set down the food.
"Yeah, can you fill 11 glasses up with water?" Raven wiped his forehead and started to wash the pots and pans.
"Yes sir, why don't you sit down though? You've worked hard enough." She hummed, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
"I don't want to leave you alone with all of these dishes. It's fine I've done this for 18 years." Rae laughed.
"That's exactly why you deserve a break," Ira hummed, pouring water into the glasses. "Take these to the table, and I'll do the dishes."
“Alright… I love you.” Raven took the glasses and kissed her cheek. He set them next to every place setting “Are you sure you don’t want me to help?”
"Nope! You sit, and relax." She called out, washing off the dishes at a steady pace. "Though if you want to come and keep me company, I won't complain."
“If you say so…” Raven walked over and sat on the counter. “Best fiancé ever.”
"Mmm, it's rude to talk about yourself when your girlfriend is in the room." Ira smirked, letting loose hair fall in her face as she continued to wash the dishes. "Or soon to be wife."
“Why are you talking to a mirror?” Raven chuckled raising an eyebrow.
"I believe you got lost in your reflection dear." She hummed, shutting off the warm water and patted her hands dry. "You forget which side of the mirror you're on."
“How can I be lost in my reflection when all I see is my beautiful soon-to-be wife staring at me?” Raven tilted his head with a grin.
"You must be looking in the Mirror of Erised, from Harry Potter." Ira smirked once more, resting her hands on her hips. "And I'm on the inside of that mirror."
“If you’re on the inside and I’m on the outside, then I could at that mirror all day if all I see is you.” Raven kissed her cheek.
Her face colored, and a meek smile spread across her lips. "I love you, a lot." She whispered, slipping her arms around his neck.
“I won.” He hummed and kissed her lips. “I love you too.” Raven swung his legs.
