Silene grinned at the painted sky. "Thank you, Cielo." She whispered silently and closed her eyes. Her mother's voice rang in her ears. Sunsets teach us that beauty sometimes only lasts for a couple of moments, and sunrises show us that all it takes is patience to experience it all over again. If only she was here to witness this, all the colours in the sky as if Cielo had painted over a blank canvas. Silene opened her eyes.
Make it last. She told herself.
(the image didn't load for me.)
Cade sighed, sitting down next to Silene. He put his hands behind him, leaning back.
Breeze leaned over watching sky melt from a dark purple to a bright orange to finally a golden yellow. Over the town of Dumaria it was utterly gorgeous as she could see a reflection off of the oasis.
(my wifi is being crap, sorry if i take long to respond.)
Riann sighed and leaned back against one of the adobe walls, watching the sun sink behind the mountains to the left and the sand dunes.
Silene watched patiently as the sun went down and the air became cool. (should we find a place to stay for the night?)
Cade stood up after the sun finally set. "We should find a place to stay. Dumaria isn't the safest place at night."
"Do you know any places?" Breeze asked Cade.
"I do, but I can't guarantee that they'll still be there. I haven't been here in years."
"Well there worth a shot," Breeze told him, "If not we can go to a place I know."
Cade nodded. He jumped down from the roof, landing in a front roll. He waited for the others before making his way to the inn he remembered.
Breeze gracefully jumped from the roof, sand cushioning her fall. She followed after Cade.
Riann jumped down after Cade, landing easily on the sand below. She followed close after him, looking around the city as she did so. This place was almost foreign to her. She had only been here at least two times.
Cade navigated the streets of Dumaria, occasionally having to retrace his steps. They've added so much since I was last here, yet it still feels the same. After a few minutes, the group arrived at a small cozy inn.
(im gonna be on and off, control Silene if you like.)
Breeze looked at the inn. She had passed by it often, and recognized it quickly.
Riann looked up, her hands skimming over the adobe wall of the inn. Warm sand blew against her ankles as she walked inside.
"In we go I suppose," Breeze said to herself. She followed after Riann.
Cade followed the other two girls inside, knowing perfectly well that it would be better for them to talk to the innkeeper.
As Riann approached the innkeeper, she racked her mind for as many Arabic words as she knew. "هل يمكننا الحصول على غرفة من فضلك?" She finally asked. Can we have a room, please?
"ستة ذهب. عشرة فضية." The inkeeper answered. Six gold, ten silver. Expensive, but Riann knew better than to argue. She placed the coins on the wooden counter.
Cade adjusted his bangs so they covered more of his face. The innkeeper might know his family, and he didn't need them to know he was here.
(please don't let this dieee)
