"I… I like art.. and puzzles.." he said shyly, watching him.

“Puzzles?” Levi smiled lightly. “Never heard that one before. You really are different. So I have a question for you. Of course. You don’t have to answer me, okay? So what made you so fragile. I mean that in a good way. I know your family died in a fire, but is there anything else? Again, you don’t have to answer?”

Marco nodded along as he spoke, frowning a bit at the question. "I.. I guess after the fire… I just.. I got turned down and hurt so many times I just stopped trusting people… stopped looking for the good…" he shrunk down in his seat slightly, "It was easier not to trust anyone, and to be constantly wary than to risk putting faith in them… Got hurt less doing that…"

He nodded. “I’m sorry I’m asking you all these questions on our first date. We should be there soon.” Levi was taking him to an ice cream shop. Somewhere small. They’re wouldn’t be a lot of people.

"'s'okay… You've got a right to know…" he said softly, not seeming to be too horribly upset, just a bit glum.

“I know but-“ he shook his head. “Let’s talk about something else. “Do you like music?” Levi asked.

"Yeah.. I do…" he responded to the question quietly.

"Does your sister? I'm also glad your sister is getting better. She'll get her human form back in no time. Once she does and you want to leave. I get it. I'm not forcing you to stay. I'll help you find someplace new okay. I'll also help you find a job. If you want my help. I'm rambling again aren't I?" He sighed. "I really need to stop that."

"Yeah.. she used to copy our older sister when she practiced Ballet…" he frowned a little at that, but took a deep breath and went on. "And.. And why would you think I was going to leave?"

(Question, how many rps have you think we've done? lol)
"I'm not saying that I think you might leave I mean you did run away once, but that's not what I mean. I'm saying there's no way for you to-I mean like. How do I put this." I bit his lip. "I'm not saying I want you to leave. I mean I literally want you to be by my side till death do us part. I'm saying that once I graduate high school, I go to college. I don't know if you want to be stuck alone at the house for four years. So you'll have to get a job to earn money so you can pay for a place to live and maybe if you want to. I could move in…your sister is another thing. We can always enroll her in school here, but she needs to turn into and human first and she needs control over her shiting an…" Levi took a deep breath. "You know?"

(This is our 3rd or 4th)
"That.. that's fair…" said Marco softly, trying to think through all the details that would be involved in that. And wondering how the heck he was going to find A job.

(Wow we've got a history huh?)
Levi sighed of relief. "We're here." He parked in a parking lot close to what looked like a boardwalk. "I know you're not good in places with a lot of people so I thought we could go to the beach or maybe just walk around on the boardwalk. I know you didn't bring a bathing suit so I thought I nice stroll would be fine. Is that alright?"

(Yes we do! Also are you staying? Also I'm only on every other weekend.)
Marco smiled a bit, "Hanging out around the boardwalk sounds fun?" He said quietly.

(kk, yes until I finish this rp then I won't be doing any more rps)
"Awesome." Levi got out the car. He opened the door to Marco's side of this car. "I can always grab somthing to eat if you don't want to go in. Not no just whenever your hungry."

(Oof)
Marco hummed, slipping out of the car to stand beside him, "I..I wanna go with you." He said quietly, givingLevi a small smile.

(My power went out as well as the WiFi so I won’t be able to respond unless I’m out of the house. Worst timing!)

”Alright, just don't push yourself.” Levi held out his hand. ”let’s get this show on the road.

(Oof, well hopefully its fixed by now)
Marco nodded with a soft smile, taking the others hand, mentally preparing himself to ensure a fun day out of his comfort zone.

Levi made sure to keep an eye on Marco's movements as they walked together. The first stop he took marco was an ice cream place. "Okay, have you ever had ice cream before?"

"Yeah.. its been awhile though.." he said with a soft shy smile.

"Do you remeber what flavor you like?" They were currently standing in line waiting for their turn to order. Through all of this Levi never let go of his hand.

Marco was grateful for the small point of contact, moving closer to him quietly. "Cookie dough." He said softly.

"Alright, cookie dough it is then," Levi spoke softly. "I never pegged you for a cookie dough type of guy. I feel like you would like strawberry sorbet. I don't know probably just me." He moved up in the line and soon it was their turn to order. "Do you want me to order for you or do you have it?"

"Can you please?" Asked Marco, staying a bit closer to him than normal since there were so many people.

Levi nodded softly. "Can I have a large cookies and cream milkshake with whipped cream." He waited for her to take the order. "Can I also have a-" He looked down to Marco. "What size do you want? Do you want anything toppings?"

Marco shrugged shyly, somewhat shrinking behind Levi meekly, really really not up to ordering his own ice cream. He also didn't really know what size or toppings.

Levi rubbed his head. "I'll also have a medium cookie dough, no toppings." He smiled and paid. They got there ice cream not long after and walked outside the store. Levi drank a little of his milkshake and looked over to Marco. "Feeling okay?"

"Yeah.. yea I'm good" he said softly, enjoying his ice cream as they left the store, staying close to Levi as they walked.

Levi stopped for a moment and leaned on the railing. He took in the fresh air and smiled. "So, today my mom talked with me about school for you. I told her to hold off though. I don't know if you'll like it or not from the way you reacted the first time. Tomorrow I have to go to school so you'll be with my mom all day."

Marco hummed thoughtfully, lapping up all the melting ice cream as he thought about it. "School… school might be a good idea… but I have no clue how they'd place me.." he said softly, almost embarrassed that he had to ask that.

(Sorry I was tied up with a lot of schoolwork lately, just got back into school so they're throwing assignments at us like crazy)
"Well, I could always tutor you and test you before next year. If you want. Of course, you don't have to go to school but it is a suggestion." Levi hesitated because wrapping his arm around Marco's waist. "Is this okay?"
