Levi frowned and pointed a spatula at Marco. "I forbid you from shifting at all today. Today is a day of you and I, so I ask you that you please turn back or I'm not going on a date with you." he pouted.

"I am a shifter Levi.. I'll shift back after breakfast.." he grumbled a little, still most definitely not awake yet, and more so, you could see how thin he was while in shifted form too, as in ou could count his ribs thin.

"Then I'm not going on a date with you." He turned away and continued to make breakfast. "I won't change my mind unless you change."

Marco huffed, then moved and shifted, lying on the floor, with a yawn. "Better?"

"Yes, yes, yes. Much better." Levi grinned and finished making the breakfast. "Sit down down at the table okay?" Levi set the food on the table and started to clean up.

"Too sleepy.." mumbled Marco, not moving.

Levi growled and poked Marco's face. "Get up or I'll be lonely!"

Marco huffed, but lazily slumped off the floor and into his seat at the table, still about ready to nod off again.

He took a plated and slammed it in front of Marco. "Wake up already." Levi whined.

Marco shook his head, "Tryin'…." he mumbled, shaking his head a little, "Never was good in t'mornin'."

Levi huffed and sat down at the table and ate though he was done in a matter of seconds. "I'm going somewhere, so you can go sleep if you want to." Levi took the keys and headed outside.

Marco crumbled a little at that, but ate his breakfast anyway, before shifting again and trying to wake himself up, something he genuinely wasn't good at afterr a good night's sleep.

He got in the car and banged his head against the wheel. "I'm being impulsive again…"

Marco slapped himself across the face a couple of times, trying to get the grogginess out of his head as he opened the front door and stumbled out onto the front step, feeling stupid, knowing full well he'd been too slow, and had hurt Levi.. again.

Levi looked up and saw Marco and began to smile. He unlocked the door and waited for Marco to get in.

Marco didn't see him, figuring he had already left instead of waiting for him.

Levi honked the horn showing that we was in front of the neighboring house. "Just hurry up and stop making me feel worse…" He groaned to himself.

Marco started a bit, but smiled a little when he saw Levi waiting for him, dashing up to get into the car, looking down sheepishly, "Sorry.. I.. I thought you'd already left without me…"

"No, no, no I would never…listen I'm sorry about earlier. I just kind want to be able to have a conversation with my boyfriend. I was also impulsive, so I apologize for that too." Levi scratched his neck.

"It's okay Levi… You just deserve better than me.." He sighed, feeling as if he wasn't quite good enough.

Levi looked up and waved his hands around. "No! I didn't mean it that way! I deserve you in every way and you deserve me. I'm impulsive and insensitive. I'm new to the whole dating thing. I know we can't kiss as often or touch or have sex or do anything that's sexually related to our bodies, but I'm okay with that. You're a sifter. I can't mad at you for being yourself. That was wrong of me. I shouldn't get on you for something like that. It's kinda like saying you can't laugh. I's apart of us. So if anything I should be sorry. I know we have to take things slow. I'll try my best to hold back as much as possible. I promise. Can you forgive me?" He asked leaning his head on Marco's shoulder.

Marco tensed a little at the sudden outburst but nodded shyly. "Kay…" He said quietly, letting out a soft sigh, "Sorry I can't keep up with you…."

"No need to be sorry, your boundaries are there for a reason. Who am I to question them? Besides, we'll move at the same pace because we're soulmates. We're together as one and don't you forget it okay?" Levi kissed his cheek and placed his hands on the wheel. "Now, how about that date?"

Marco nodded ahyly, already feeling better. "Thank you…" He hummed softly, "Where were we gonna go anyway?"

(Hey I just had an Idea to bring out Marcos confidence a little.
What if Levis mom brings in a coworker to help with Mia, and the coworker accidentally scares her and Marco goes all protective big brother for his little sister, (this would happen just as they get home so it would be an near instinctive reaction from Marco)

"It's a surprise, just wait and see okay?" He put the car into drive. Levi stepped on the gas pedal. "You know that you really are just adorable?"

Marco nodded quietly, "Kay Levi." he said softly.

“What? It’s true.” Levi chuckled. “If you ever feel uncomfortable on this date. Tell me okay? Then we can leave.”

"Kay.." said Marco once more, relaxing a little.
