Wilhelm looked up from his hand to Connor for a moment, though he quickly looked away.

Connor opened his eyes lazily, looking over at Wilhelm for a moment, then up at the ceiling.

Wilhelm looked about half asleep already. He was fighting it, sure, but sleep always found a way to sneak up on him.

Connor smiled a little bit, sitting up and looking around. He went over to the window to look outside.

And just like that, Wilhelm was asleep. Outside the weather was.. gross. Light drizzle, humid, all around unpleasant.

Connor sighed softly, and went back to sit down on the bed.

Wilhelm tugged a blanket over himself, curling up in it as he slept.

Connor smiled at that sight, running a hand through his hair.

By the time that they could leave for dinner, Wilhelm was far gone enough for it to be a question of whether or not to even wake him up.

Connor sighed softly, and went over to poke his shoulder anyway. "Wilhelm. 's dinner time."

“Scheiße..” Wilhelm mumbled, waking up rather easily this time. “I’m up, I’m up..” He sat up, rubbing his face.

He chuckled softly. "Yeh said yeh wanted tae eat. So ah was wakin' yeh. Should ah not have?"

“No, no, you’re good, don’t worry.” Wilhelm got to his feet, stretching. “Thanks for waking me up, Connor.”

Connor nodded a little bit. "Alright. Let's go, then." he headed to the door, running his fingers through his red curls.

Wilhelm followed after him. He tugged at the collar of his shirt, trying to pull out some of the wrinkles the best he could.

Connor led the way down the hallway, humming softly. He led the way into the dining hall, heading to get food.

Wilhelm elected to go ahead and get food as well, instead of trying to secure a table and possibly forgetting to eat like he had done in the past.

Connor grabbed food, then waited for Wilhelm to be done.

Wilhelm did the same, joining back up with Connor and walking to their usual spot.

Connor walked with Wilhelm, sitting down with his food. He sighed softly. He didn't quite know what else to do or say.

Wilhelm went ahead and wolfed down his food, not sure what else to do. He couldn’t think of any conversation topics, so eating felt like a good way to fill that void.

Connor was eating too, quiet except for the chewing.

He crossed his legs, leaning his elbows on the table. His eyes wandered around the dining hall. All around them, boys were chatting and eating, laughing and arguing. He tried to listen in on conversations, but there were too many happening for him to zone in on any one speaker.

Connor was quiet, thinking. He didn't know what he would do afterwards, after dinner.

“Ah, fuck. I just remembered homework that I didn’t do, damn.” Wilhelm broke the silence, frowning.

(I gtg to bed soon, sorry. Good night!)

Connor let out a faint laugh. "Shit, I do too." he realized. "I don't wanna."

“Me neither, and yet.” Wilhelm sighed. “Guess I’ll have to wait on sleeping just a little longer, won’t I?”

Connor sighed, closing his eyes. "Ugh. Gross. Fucking homework."

“I know, I know. What class is it for you?” Wilhelm picked absently at his knuckles.

"Uhm…" he squinched up his face in thought. "Ah dinnae remember."
