"Alright. When we leave, we can bring you herbs for that. Poppy seeds should do wonders. How are Frogleap and Pondsplash?" (their kits who aren't really kits anymore.) "Have they been visiting?"

"Frogleap has, he's been visiting us every day! But as for Pondsplash? She's been hanging out with Robinflight."
"Oooh! Do you think they'll get together?" Gossiping with the elders was always fun. They knew plenty of interesting stories from when they were younger, as well.
"Yep, there is no way at all they are not getting together," Marshtail said, licking his brown skinny tail.
"Oh, that's great! They'll have such cute kits." (I gtg eat food and stuff byeeee probably be back later?)

"Lets hope." Marshtail muttered, laying his head on his white paws, "Robinflight is a kinda a big mouth and I hope the kits aren't going to be like him."
Finchpaw laughed a bit. "Perhaps they'll be more like Pondsplash, then? She's very level headed and well behaved, isn't she?"
"More then Frogleap," Creeksong purred, "That tom is always 'trying' to make new ways of fighting and hunting! But I think he's only making new ways of make him look like a fool."
"I've noticed that. Looks more like dancing than fighting, doesn't it?" She laughed. "Perhaps his tactic is to make his opponent laugh until they're incompetent!"

"Yes!!" Creeksong laughed, nearly falling on her mate.

"Or confuse them! He could be fighting a Shadowclan cat, and then he'll start hopping about like a rabbit on catmint! They'd be so confused."
Marshtail moved closer to Creeksong, and looking up said, "They'll be wondering if they are suppose to fight or just watch! I know i'll be confused if he did that to me, oorrrr i'll just hit him on the head and tell him to get some sense."
"Or you might just send him to us to check whether he's been sneaking our catnip. I know Dustpaw's good at fighting, perhaps he could give Frogleap some pointers?" She chuckled softly. Imagine a warrior being taught by an apprentice? That'd definitely be interesting to watch.
"Robinflight might have a active imagination but he's not stupid," Creeksong put in, "Otherwise I've would have told him to stay away from our kit!"
"That would make him a great father too. One that would play with his kits and teach them well. Some toms practically have no contact with their kits whatsoever."
"Yep, like someone I know…." Marshtail said darkly, staring at Finchpaw.
"What do you mean?" Finchpaw cocked her head to the side, confused.
"He's thinking of your father, and his father…" Creeksong said, licking Marshtail on the head.
"What about my father? I mean, he always spent a lot more time with Dustpaw, but he's… okay.."
"Oh he dose?" Marshtail said, slightly confused, "Oh what, I'm mixing him up with my mentor Stormhawk… Oh well!"
"Oh, okay." Crowstripe was a very busy tom, but he still tried to spend time with his kits when he could. He was often given patrols to do, so he had quite a full schedule.
(Is Crowfeather elder and was he here the whole time? And why is he named after a Windclan warrior?)
"Too bad you father never really spent time with you." Marshtail snaped, curling his tail besides him.
(Sorry I typed it wrong ^^;, his name's actually Crowstripe. And he's actually fairly young for a parent, since these cats are based off my actually family and my parents are kinda young)
"It's fine." Finchpaw shrugged. "I guess it helped me become more independent?"
"Yeah, like Jaysong." He huffed, laying his head down to rest.
She nodded. "I'm not sure whether it's really a good thing or bad thing, since it makes accepting or asking for help quite difficult…"
"He means it in a bad way, dear," Creeksong whispered, nudging her grumpy mate.
"Yes…" Finchpaw was deep in thought, but eventually she decided to distract herself with wondering what her full name would be. Finchcall? Finchleaf? Finchfeather, Finchwing, Finchflight… None of them sound right…
