Danny stood up, scurrying off with his cup to the kitchen. He came back after a minute or so, taking his place right back on the couch. “I have a feelin’ we missed a lot.”
Danny stood up, scurrying off with his cup to the kitchen. He came back after a minute or so, taking his place right back on the couch. “I have a feelin’ we missed a lot.”
Alex let out a faint laugh. "Yeah, I think so too." he replied, pausing the episode and stretching again, leaning back and pressing his head into the couch for a moment.
“You doin’ okay?” Danny looked over, ruffling up his hair. He cracked his neck and knuckles, trying to shake off the last remaining bits of sleepiness and wake up his joints.
He nodded, looking over at Danny for a moment. "Yeah. Better…better than earlier, anyways." one hand brushed against the bruising on his throat, and he swallowed, eyes flicking away for a moment.
“That’s worth somethin’, at least. A little’s better than nothin’.” Danny yawned, his jaw popping. At the feeling he recoiled, massaging his jaw. “Anythin’ I can do to help out? Even if it’s just around the house, man, you got dishes or somethin’ that need to get washed?”
Alex shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah. And…no, not really. I think…I don't really have anything."
Danny nodded. “Alright, alright. If you think of anythin’, let me know, okay? I gotta step outside for a second, but I’ll be right back.”
He nodded back. "Mm. Alright." he replied. He exited the show, going back to the previous episode to watch what they had missed.
Danny leaned on the wall outside, staring at the passerby. Being inside was driving him nuts, to be honest. Danny never quite understood how people could be shut-ins, staying in a confined space forever.
Alex closed his eyes tiredly. To be honest…he would have liked to go on a walk, but he was sore, and tired, and he really didn't feel up to moving.
Danny crouched down, holding out his hand to give a stray dog walking past a pet or two. The animal, though, upon seeing Danny, hissed skittered away on its many legs. He stood back up.
(I’ve been listening to so much Welcome to Night Vale.. I feel like it’s coming through in this lmao)
Alex groaned, stretching again and standing up, shaking his legs out to stretch.
(haha oof)
Danny came back in after a few minutes, already feeling the heat of the Nevada sun. He tugged at his shirt collar as he sat back down.
Alex looked over, plopping back down and letting out a soft "oof" as he landed. "Hi."
“Hi.” Danny responded. “Sorry ‘bout that. Had to sit outside for a bit, get some fresh air.”
"It's fine, man. Don't worry about it." he waved a hand.
“Thanks, brother.” Danny pulled out his phone, scrolling through it for a second before looking back at the TV. “This a new episode?”
He nodded, then shook his head. "Nah. It's the one we slept through." he chuckled softly, stretching again.
“Guess that’d be why I don’t remember it, then.” Danny chuckled, slipping his phone underneath his leg so that he wouldn’t get distracted.
"Yeah." he agreed, putting his blanket around himself again.
Danny picked up his blanket, wrapping it around his shoulders and settling into the couch.
(gtg in about thirty minutes)
He watched the show, leaning his head to one side on the couch cushions.
(Alright, thanks!)
Danny was essentially perched on the couch, the blanket draped over his body like a cloak.
(np!)
Alex looked over at him, and let out a faint, breathy laugh. "You look like a fantasy like…wizard or something, with the blanket like that."
Danny laughed, pulling the blanket tighter. “Maybe I am a fantasy wizard, huh? That’d be fuckin’ weird. Werewolf and a wizard. Sounds like a fuckin’ anime character.”
He laughed. "Yeah. Although if it were in an anime, you'd be one of those cutesy girls with giant eyes who somehow also wields this bigass sword."
“Damn straight!” Danny woofed, still laughing. “Y’know how some actors got like.. the one typa character they always play? That’s me, baby.”
Alex laughed, shaking his head. "Yikes, dude. Although I gotta admit, be funny seeing you play anything like that."
“Don’t insult my craft, Alex! I’ll have you know, I’ve dedicated my life to playing anime girls.” Danny joked, trying his best to keep a serious face.
Alex was laughing. "Yes, I can certainly see that. Danny, starring as some weirdass Asian name."
