There was clearly a section of the square dedicated to dancing. Everyone closer to the band was dancing, while people on the outskirts were rocking more slowly, even though the song was upbeat.
Lou was happy standing where he was, holding Jay close to his side. Apparently, Matt had other ideas for he and Marco.
Matt glanced around, then grabbed Marco’s hand and tugged him into the dancing crowd.
“You both better follow!” the man called with a hearty laugh over his shoulder, still tugging Marco. The two dissapeared into the ever moving crowd.

Marco yelped as he was tugged into the crowd, then laughed, going along with Matt with a smile on his face.
Jay grinned. "Come on, Lou. Adventure awaits!" He tugged the Frenchman into the crowd with a grinning smile.

Lou lightly protested, eyes wide as he was roped in. He held Jay’s hand tightly, following loosely behind him. The music grew louder as they stumbled closer, weaving throughout the crowd.

“Loosen up,” Lou repeated with a laugh. “Haha, sure.”
His last note hinted sarcasm but he did as told— letting himself step quicker to the music.
On the other hand, Matt looked like a professional. He was clearly leading, but wouldn’t take his hands from Marco. Lou eyed the two over a few heads of people, gaining a sudden burst of inspiration.
Lou grabbed the both of Jay’s hands, twirling him around and beginning to lead in the slightest bit of an awkward quickstep. It was choppy, but he tried his best.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay grinned, letting Lou lead. He kept his own movements smooth and easy, letting Lou lead, even though he knew that Lou wasn't as experienced or as good as he could be.
Marco was smiling happily as Matt led him through the motions, looking up at the other man with that adorable, easy little smile.

As the music slowed to an end, Lou breathlessly bowed, putting one hand elegantly behind his back and keeping his other hand in Jay’s.
Matt held Marco in a slightly closer way.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay smiled at Lou, and returned the bow with a faint smirk. He kissed Lou's cheek happily. "Shall we continue, monsieur?" he asked, cocking his head.
Marco didn't appear to mind in the least, holding onto Matt as they danced.

“If you wish, King,” Lou replied with a cheesy wink. As the music started up yet again, Lou drew Jay in closer and began dancing again to the beat of the jazz. He was growing more comfortable, so his movements flowed easier.

Matt slowed his dancing as the music rose and fell, matching it’s rythm with perfection. Marco wasn’t too shabby either.
Despite the eccentric dancing, he kept his eyes on the man in front of him, just happy to be there. He gave another one of his charming smiles— the kind that caused his eyes to twinkle only slightly.

“You’re not too bad,” Matt said, not even out of breath as he slid out. He turned, his feet moving quickly as he slid back in and moved to either side of Marco. “Better than Quincy, I’d say.”
Matt, of course, would refer to Lou by his last name whenever he could. Lou hated it, but nothing could stop Matt.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Marco shrugged a little bit. "I just have a sense of rhythm, that's all." He replied with a laugh. "I'm really not all that great." He watched Matt with a small smile.
Jay was still dancing with Lou contentedly, keeping an eye on Marco and Matt.

“Sure you are,” Matt answered. “Give yourself credit, amigo.”
Lou spun Jay around in a confident manner, stepping up slightly at the bold move but regaining his footing. He gave a sheepish smile, slowing himself down slightly.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Marco shrugged, smiling a little bit. "Mm. Thanks." He replied, looking at Matt.
Jay grinned at the spin, kissing Lou when he was done with a twirl, tugging the Frenchman closer.

“Maybe you should lead,” Lou breathed, his expression loose yet gleeful. The dark night was cold, but the lights shone brightly through the square. Even in the crowd, the air was cold, but right here—close to Jay— Lou was warm for once.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay grinned. "Alright. Come on." He replied. He took the lead, smiling up at Lou. "Come on. Maybe we can get you dance lessons at some point." He chuckled a little, and kissed Lou's cheek.

@PaperHats business

“No dance lessons,” he replied, following each of Jay’s steps. The man was clearly a better dancer than he. The music slowed finally, almost as if to signify the night. As the sky got ever darker, the band’s music flowed ever slower. The crowd began to sway, and Lou looked up for any sort of cue from Jay.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Aww, why not?" He asked. At the change, he guided Lou into a slower, easier, swaying dance, humming softly. "A few lessons and you'd be perfect, jester." His voice was light, teasing. Not serious about it.

@PaperHats business

“I’ll do it if you take it with me,” he retorted. “Otherwise, not a chance.”
He smiled, gazing down at Jay. He was much better at the slower dancing, basically because it was just swaying. It was hard to mess that up.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay sighed softly. "I don't have time for a dance class, darlin'." he replied. "I've got the whole…thing with my class this month, and then…" he shook his head a little bit, already not wanting to think about the fact that he had to leave in a month.

@PaperHats business

“Well, yeah, sure, you’re leaving,” Lou said casually. “Better accept it and have a great time while we’re here, huh?”
It was probably this easy for Lou to say because he could jump back whenever… but it would hurt nonetheless.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay blinked a little, and nodded. "Yeah, that's…that's true." He responded slowly. He caught Lou's mouth in his own, closing his eyes. He was going to cherish every moment he got.

@PaperHats business

“Well then,” Lou said with a smile, pulling back slightly. “Make it count, I guess?”
With that, he leaned down to kiss the man again, pulling him closer as they swayed. A hand crept to the man’s waist, drawing him in.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Jay wrapped his arms around Lou, still swaying gently to the music as he returned the kisses. He let out a faint breath, wishing this could last. Wishing it could stay like this forever.

@PaperHats business

Meanwhile, Matt led in a sort of slow sway, still managing to put his own spin on it. It was much more cinematic than romantic, unlike Lou and Jay. Still, Matt kept himself close to Marco.

@PaperHats business

“Least we dance better than they do, eh?” Matt said with a scoff, nodding his head to the other two. “They’re barely even doing so.”
He kept his eyes off of Marco, either looking to the band, the sky, or Lou.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Marco laughed a little, and shrugged. "Maybe so. But they're dancing is a little more…I don't know. Romantic?" He shrugged again, eyes flicking around. He didn't quite know where to look.
