"Now go ahead, go find your clue." He cooed, leaning back to peck her cheek.

Caroline got off the bike and walked inside the bakery

A woman was at the counter, wiping it down with earbuds in her ears. The place was seemingly empty, besides a younger man off in the corner on a laptop, and a couple who was laughing and holding a quiet conversation. There was nothing but these people in sight.

Caroline looked around confused

The couple didn't take notice, as the two were happily invested in themselves. But the young man had looked up and caught her eye. "Is everything alright miss?" He hummed, shutting his laptop. His tan sweated, and dark neat hair seemed perfectly in place. He honestly looked like the trendy book worm.

" oh uh yes my boyfriend just has me looking for something" she said

"Is your name Caroline? I heard a man come in here, and talk to the lady at the counter about her." The younger man inquired, picking up his trash and standing up. "She's been here since I got here."

" Thank you" she said and walked over to the lady at the counter

"Sure thing." He nodded firmly, walking to the trash can. The woman hadn't looked up once, as she was humming along to the tune of the song in her ears.

Caroline leaned over and tapped the lady's shoulder

Blinking, her head snapped upwards. "Of, I'm sorry." She laughed, yanking the ear buds out. "What can I get you ma'am?" She asked, her short blonde hair flipping.

" My names Caroline" she said

The woman blinked a few times, seeming to recognize the name. Things clicked, and her eyes lit up. "Oh! Caroline, right." She chirped, turning around and seemingly disappearing.

Caroline raised her eyebrow in confusion

Coming back, she had an envelope in her hands, and a box of Caroline's favorite cookies. "Someone named Brad stopped by, already paid for and everything." She smiled, handing them over.

Caroline took the cookies and the envelope and walked back out to Brad

"Good, you did find it!" He chirped, clicking his phone off. Pocketing it, he smiled up to her.

She smiled handing the cookies to him and opening the envelope reading the note inside

Brad put the box into his bag, and looked up to her.
I wanted to get you caffeine, my Queen. It tastes good, and makes you run like a well oiled machine.

She looked at Brad "Starbucks?" She asked

He nodded, getting off the bike. "My darling, you look gorgeous tonight."

" I'm in leggings a crop top and a leather jacket" she said

"Like I said, gorgeous." He hummed, leaning in a kissing her lips.

She kissed him back gently

Pulling away, he slid his arms around her waist. "You still have a few to go, so let's hurry."

She nodded " to Starbucks"

"Alright sweetness, get your helmet on, and we'll go." He hummed, kissing her jaw.

She slipped her helmet on and fastened the strap

"If you're ready, we'll head off." He hummed, glancing over his shoulder.

She nodded " I'm excited"
