For just a moment she leaned into his lips, pulling back so she could look up to him. "It's getting kind of cold, we should head inside." She hummed, cupping his cheek in her hand.
For just a moment she leaned into his lips, pulling back so she could look up to him. "It's getting kind of cold, we should head inside." She hummed, cupping his cheek in her hand.
"Alright, come on," he led her back inside and rubbed her arms to warm up. "I'm glad you got to see the garden though."
"I am too, it was stunning." Ira grinned, resting her hand on his. "I think I might go put a warmer shirt on, and then come down and help you with dinner. If you're cooking tonight."
"You know it. Come back soon okay?" Raven pecked her lips and then got to work in the kitchen.
“Of course, it’ll only take me a minute.” She smiled, rubbing off to go change her shirt, and run a brush through her hair.
Raven started getting the ingredients together. Once everything he needed was set out he started chopping and frying.
Doing as she said, she pulled her hair up out of her face into a messy bun. Pulling her soft sweater down, she skipped back down the stairs with a smile. "What are we making?"
"Chicken and rice, but the chicken is cooked in a special sauce that makes it taste even better." Raven kissed her lips before getting back to work.
"Can I help?" She asked him softly, sliding an arm around his waist.
"Can you…set the same and then flip the chicken for me when I tell you to. Keep moving the chicken around also." Raven asked.
"Sure thing handsome." Ira smiled back, pressing her lips to his shoulder, before doing as he had asked. "Just tell me when."
He watched for the chicken to turn brown. "Flip them now, please." Raven kissed her cheek and he chopped up some vegetables.
Nodding, she did so with a smile. "Continue to keep them moving?" She asked softly, moving the pan on the stove top.
"Yup! Thank you. Best Fiance ever." Raven placed the vegetables into bowls and placed them on the table.
"I don't think so, as you hold that title supreme." Ira laughed softly, stirring the pan. "It's sad that the reason you say that, is because I helped make chicken."
"That's not the reason and you know it. Would you like me to my wedding vow to you or doing I have to put it up a big poster and yell it to all of Japan?" Raven hugged her waist and kissed her neck.
"I mean, if I said yes to the latter, would you actually do it?" She teased, running her thumb over the top of his hand. "Because that would be quite the sight, now wouldn't it?"
"I would do anything to show you my love, but then I would have to write a new vow to tell you on our wedding day." Raven kissed her lips.
“I’m just teasing. I wouldn’t ask something like that, if you.” She hummed, trying to multitask best she could.
Raven turned off the stove and moved them onto the plate that already had chicken on it. "Lastly, is the rice. We're going to have to make a lot. So, can you get four medium pots from that cabinet please?" Raven pointed to the cabinet as he took the chicken to the table.
"Your wish is my command." Ira hummed out, opening the cabinet to pull out the pots. Only having two hands, she pulled them out one at a time, as to make sure not to drop them. "Where do you want them?"
"Put them on all on all four stove places." He got two bags of rice and set them on the counter. "You can go sit down if you're tired."
"I don't mind helping you, it's quiet in here." Ira whispered, setting the pots on the stove. "Besides, I much prefer being with you, then by myself. It's plenty relaxing."
"If you say so." He filled the rice bag up with water and then dumped it out in the sink without losing any rice. "Can you do this with the other bag please?"
"I…I don't know." She admitted, biting into her lower lip. "I don't want to mess anything up, and lose food." Ira whispered, tapping her fingers on the side of the sink.
"Alright. No worries. Can you fill up four bowls of water?" Raven asked as he started to do the same with the other bag.
"Of course honey, I'm plenty capable of that." She laughed softly, going to grab four different bowls to fill with water.
"Thank you, only a little bit okay?" Raven wiped his forehead before continuing with the rice.
"Mhmm." Ira hummed in response, filling each bowl with a little bit of water. "If I'm in your way, just tell me honey. I don't want to make more work on you."
"No, no you're not in my way it's just that the heat from the stove has got me sweaty. If anything youre reducing the work so thank you." Raven smiled as he started to separate the rice in half and then spot into the bowls of water.
