"It's fine, love…" Lucas looked up the bottle, his vision a bit blurry. "I don't think I can take more than two for a few hours… and I already took two."

Nick nodded, "Let just try to sleep okay?" He took the bottle back and placed it in the box. "I'll be right here next to you."

"Mmkay…" Lucas huddled close to Nick and screwed his eyes shut, not sure whether or not he'd actually be able to sleep.

"Do your best alright." Nick couldn't go to sleep because he needed to know when the food was here.

"I will…" Lucas closed his eyes and tried to sleep, though he was largely unsuccessful. He wouldn't be able to sleep until his headache subsided.

Nick was the one who ended falling asleep. The doorbell rang second later, that woke him up. "Don't mess with Lucas!" he yelled. "Is the food here?" he asked rubbing his eyes.

Lucas whined and covered his ears when Nick yelled. "Y-Yeah, I think so…"

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to yell, promise. I'll go get the food." Nick felt for where Lucas's forehead was, he planted a kiss and headed for the door. The man had to hand him the bag, then he came back to the bedroom. "You will have to eat. I'm not taking no for an answer."

He nodded a bit. He wasn't really hungry, but he knew Nick would force feed him if need be. "Can we just eat in bed?" He asked.

"Yeah…that's why I brought the food here. Sit up." Nick pulled Lucas up so his back was on the pillows. "Do you want me to feed you or do you want to feed yourself. If I try to feed it would be one hell of a mess."

"I think I can do it…" Lucas leaned back against the pillow and tore off a piece of his pancake, nibbling at it absently.

"Eat more alright. It will help with your headache." Nick took the pancake that was still in the bag and started to eat it.

Lucas nodded and kept eating, taking slightly larger bites. The food wasn't helping yet, but at least it tasted good.

"Don't forget to drink water too." Nick kissed his cheek and started to eat his bacon. "Want some?"

"No, I'm fine…" Lucas drank a bit of water, which did help a bit. He drank more upon that realization.

Nick chuckled and finished his food. "Did the water help?"

"Some, yeah. I'm probably just really dehydrated in addition to the concussion." He finished the water and set the glass down.

"Probaby you haven't had the chance to drink any water." Nick cleaned up his trays. "Can you throw this out for me?"

"I can try." Lucas grabbed the stuff and left, tossing it in the trash. He returned a few minutes later.

"Thank you~. Now you can lay down, while I kiss you to sleep." Nick pushed Lucas down on the bed and kissed his nose.

"Mmm…" Lucas relaxed a bit and closed his eyes, letting Nick do what he wanted with him.

"Just try to sleep alright?" Nick smiled and felt around his neck. "I wish I could see your eyes…they always calm me down." he kissed down his neck.

"Alright, love…" Lucas exhaled shakily and wrapped his arms around Nick's neck. "Can we cuddle?" He asked quietly.

"Yeah…sure," Nick smiled before laying next to him. "All we seem to do nowadays is cuddle."

"Because it calms me, and I enjoy it, and you enjoy it too." Lucas huddled close to Nick.

"I do~" Nick cooed and kissed Lucas's forehead. "How about we go on a date soon? I mean after you're healed?"

"Sounds good to me, love… it's been a while. Is there anywhere you're thinking you want to go?"

"Maybe the beach or someplace nice, just to two of us and no distractions." Nick kissed his ear with a grin.

"Sounds great." Lucas returned the kisses and relaxed in Nick's arms.

"Then it's settled." Nick's grin didn't go away. His soft breathing was right up against Lucas's ear.
