“I’d rather be impressive,” Lou laughed, flopping back on a seat, his head resting on the back with his feet up on the table.
“Matt go get us drinks,” Lou said with a laugh.
The man narrowed his eyes and wagged his head tauntingly, getting up.
“Marco, wanna come?” he said, chuckling. “Leave these two terrible lovebirds alone?”
Marco laughed. "Sure, sure." he got up, and looked at Jay. "I better not come back here to clothes being taken off, or I'll beat your ass, boy."
Jay turned red. "Marco! Shut up!" he snapped, sitting down next to Lou. "Go get me a drink before I kill you."
Marco was laughing as he started walking.
“Weirdos,” Lou muttered with a smile. “I swear this was a massive mistake.”
He sat up, propping his elbows on his knees and leaning over. He looked up at Jay, only a bit of hair falling into his eyes. He jokingly gave a cheesy smile, pushing in his glasses.
Jay grinned at Lou, looking at him. "Hm. Well. I'm not sure who you're saying is a weirdo, but either way…" he shrugged his shoulders.
“Both of ‘em,” he replied, fiddling with his hands. “But mainly Matt.”
Lou’s eyes flicked to the board, showing Jay’s name.
“You’re up,” he said, nodding to the lane. “Show me what you can do. This one counts.”
He gave a humorous wink, biting his tongue.
Jay laughed a little bit, and got up, throwing the ball. He managed to knock three pins down, and laughed at himself. "Huh. Not terrible, but not great." he said, looking over at Lou.
“Oh get that smug look off your face,” Lou taunted. “You did better than me.”
He smiled, his eyebrows narrowed and his shoulders hunched, like he was being pessimistic. However, his laugh said otherwise.
(I'm probably not going to be super active tonight, sorry!)
He grinned, and kissed Lou softly. "Mm. Alright, alright." He tugged Lou close, wrapping his arms around the other male. "I'll stop."
“Stop taunting or stop being good?” Lou asked, after returning a kiss. “Because, honestly, I’d take either.”
Their moment was soon interrupted by Matt sliding back into one of the chairs. He handed Lou a drink and the Frenchman took it in his hand.
“What’d you get me?” Lou asked.
“Nothing you need to know, lightweight,” the man remarked snarkily. “Just take a sip, bud.”
"Hmm. Both." He replied easily. After a moment of thinking about it, he climbed into Lou's lap, grinning.
Marco came back, and smirked at the sight, handing Jay a drink and holding one in his own hands.
“Gettin’ handsy, are we?” Matt said with a wide smile. “And you haven’t even had a drink yet.”
Lou turned a bright red, almost choking on his drink. “Shut it, Matt. Feel like I’ve had to say that so many times tonight, and it’s not even 9:00.”
Matt just chuckled, propping his head on his hands and giving Lou a taunting smile.
“I apologize for his behavior,” Lou said, turning to Jay and wrapping an arm around him. He sounded like he was apologizing to a teacher about his kid. Honestly, it’s what Matt acted like.
Jay stuck his tongue out. "No one's getting handsy. I just wanted a more comfortable seat." He leaned back against Lou's chest, taking a deep breath. "And don't worry about it."
Marco sat down in a seat, taking a sip of his own drink.
“At least glad to know my terribly skinny body is comfortable to someone,” Lou said in more of a breath than a voice as he sighed.
He started to twirl his fingers through Jay’s hair slightly, humming along to the blaring music overhead.
Jay hummed softly, leaning into Lou's hands with a smile. "Mm." he replied. "You could use a little more padding, true." he shrugged.
"But don't worry, Jay's ass has enough padding for the both of you." Marco muttered, smirking.
Jay threw a crumpled napkin at Marco, blushing red.
Lou just chuckled quietly in response, resuming his humming shortly after. He kept his position, not wanting to get up even after seeing both of the other men roll, seeing the board overhead turn to his name. Lou waved his free hand.
“Matt, go for me,” he muttered like a whiny kid. “Get me some points please.”
“Nah, man,” Matt replied. “If I do it for you, you’re never getting better.”
Lou rolled his eyes, tapping Jay on the shoulder so he could get up.
Jay sighed, and got off of Lou reluctantly, taking another sip from his drink.
Marco was smiling, leaning back into his seat. His makeup was still nearly perfect, that trans flag on proud display on his shirt.
Lou rolled, this time actually hitting a few pins. He downed about five, leaving some still left. As he rolled a second, he missed them all. A small score added to his board and he smiled widely.
“You’re getting better,” Matt said with a laugh, high-fiving the Frenchman as he walked past.
“Barely,” Lou replied, but he was way prouder than he let on. He just sat back on the seat, nudging Jay for his turn while taking another swig of his drink.
Jay got up to take his turn, and sat down on Lou's lap again when he was done. He had gotten a halfway decent score. "Your turn, Marco!" He called, taking a sip of his drink.
Marco sighed loudly. "Somebody help me up then." He held up a hand lazily, leaning back in his chair.
Matt, who was standing propped up by the board, dropped his hand casually and gripped Marco’s in sort of a Predator handshake. His tanned and tattooed arms had been revealed by rolled up sleeves, and he had taken off his jacket a while ago. He yanked up Marco with just enough force to get him to his feet, standing slightly too close but smiling charmingly.
Lou wrapped his arms around Jay yet again, just happy to have him back.
Marco looked up at Matt with a smile, running a hand through his curly hair. He seemed to consider something for a moment, then simply sashayed over, grabbed his ball, and threw.
Jay leaned against Lou happily, sighing contentedly.
“You see what I just saw?” Lou whispered to Jay quietly. “Do you think they could… y’know…”
He left the question lingering as he watched Matt smile to himself, sitting back down on the seat and propping his legs up on the table. Lou just raised an eyebrow.
Jay smirked. "I think that that would be highly entertaining." he replied with a laugh, smirking at Marco as the other male came back.
Marco flicked Jay's forehead, rolling his eyes.
“Highly,” Lou agreed, watching Marco pass. He smiled to himself, seeing Matt propped up in the opposite chair, sitting up as straight as he could and watching Marco with a sort of fascination. Lou had to resist the urge to roll his eyes.
Marco plopped down in a seat, legs akimbo and hands clasped behind his head. He leaned back, closing his eyes with a sigh.
Jay smirked at Marco, then twisted to kiss Lou's cheek.
Lou suddenly gave a far-off look, smiling with slightly glazed eyes. He quickly snapped back, seeming to re-take back all of the surroundings. It was almost if he had jumped in time just then, but he didn’t say a word. He just kept up his previous smile, calling to Matt for the man’s turn.
Jay frowned a little at that, but didn't say anything about it as he waited for Matt to take his turn.
Marco took a sip of his drink, sitting up slightly.
Matt went up, rolled, got a strike, and pranced back happily. He leaned on the board, trying to look all suave as he jokingly slicked his hair back, blowing a sharp exhale and winking at Lou. The frenchman just let out a small chuckle.
“Don’t get too cocky,” Lou said, squirming to get up from the seat and take his own turn. He respectfully rolled Jay onto the couch, then picked up a ball.
“Might give you a run for your money,” Lou continued, almost dropping the ball— which was obviously too heavy for him.
“Alright then,” Matt said, laughing. “Show me.”
And just like that, Lou rolled, getting a strike. He looked bewildered, turning around and wondering if he had actually done it.
Jay grinned when Lou got the strike, and jumped up to kiss the Frenchman's cheek. "Wow! Great job!" He said, smiling. "Though now I'm losing, so shame on you."
Marco grinned, stretching slightly. He ran his hands through his hair.
Lou shot Matt finger guns, grinning widely and leaning sort of into Jay.
“Don’t worry,” he said. “You can be on my team.”
“That’s not how bowling works,” Matt retorted.
“Mind your own business,” Lou hissed jokingly, leaning an elbow on Jay. He patted the American on the shoulder. “You’re up. Show me how it’s done.”
Jay sighed loudly, and headed out to bowl. He watched as his ball rolled down the lane, and…well. A decent score, yes. Nothing to be proud of, but not too shabby either.
Marco laughed a little bit. "Maybe you do need to be on Lou's team." He teased.
