(I can be a villain, but I'll need to make another character)
Vaughn gave a soft chuckle, seeming in a much better mood. He could easily say that he was obviously more comfortable around Kaz than he was with Avery and Dylan. They just shared a stronger bond. “Love you,” He murmured, pecking the tip of Kaz’s nose.
(I can be the villain, If the spots still open…)
Kaz chuckled softly, a dorky grin crossing his face. “Love you too,” he said before pecking Vaughn on the cheek. He was glad to be of some help with helping Vaughn feel a little better. After all, getting shot was not the most pleasant thing
Vaughn shifted a tad and rested his head on Kaz’s shoulder. He took in a few slow breaths, trying not to think about his wound. But that didn’t turn out too well. “We need to check for internal damage. What if something important got hit?”
“Well, there’s always going to the doctor. But with our reputations that might not go down very well,” Kaz said, frowning slightly in thought. “Maybe I could call Cas?” he suggested
(I can be the villain, If the spots still open…)
I do believe it is.
“Mhm, they’d call the police.. And Cas? He’s back in America, right? And hey, what the hell are you doing in Africa, anyways?” Vaughn questioned, lips pursing as he looked at Kaz.
“Well Cas can teleport, first of all. Secondly I’m here on a job. Erik was here hunting a wendigo for a friend but she wanted my help when she found a whole nest of them,” he explained
“Seriously? You better not get hurt, both of us don’t need to be injured,” Vaughn said, expression turning concerned.
“Don’t worry, we already took care of it. The perks of having control over lightning make it ridiculously easy to deep fry things that hate fire,” Kaz said, flashing a small smile
Personally, a villain who works behind the scenes and never shows themselves, just has a bunch of henchmen. It gives a good sense of dread. You don't need to do this, it's just friendly advice.
Vaughn chuckled a bit and slowly shook his head. “It’s adorable when you try and act all badass,” he hummed, pecking Kaz’s lips quickly.
Kaz pouted, sticking his tongue out at Vaughn. “I’m not trying to act badass, I am badass!” he huffed. “How many people do you know that can cause entire electrical storms?”
“Yeah, you’re abilities might be a bit badass, but not your personality,” Vaughn said, a slight joking tone edging its way into his voice. “Whining like that doesn’t help your case either, precious.”
Avery grumbled as Vaughn took the tools away from her, and she managed to climb to her feet, now ignoring the other guys. As she walked to Dylan, she stumbled a bit, the amount of blood she had lost – and was still losing – making her a bit light-headed and dizzy. Her hand still gripped her side, but she stuck her other one out to lean on Dylan for just a moment before she could stand on her own again.
"Sorry," she mumbled, pulling back.
Kaz huffed. "I'm not whining, I'm just stating the facts," he pouted. "And I'd say at least one of my personalities is badass. It just depends whether or not you like your boyfriend better when he's psycho."
(I can be the villain, If the spots still open…)
(It is. You might have to wait a bit before introducing your character, though, but I think you can do it soon.)
(Okay, I'll wait…)
Dylan took hold of her, keeping her steady, but didn't let go of her. She was hurt, but still she seemed determined in her gaze. Weak, but determined.
"I should have gone. I'm the one who needs to be sorry here."
"No, you don't," Avery argued, shaking her head. "I made you let me go. Don't feel that you have to apologize for that. You don't." She sucked in a breath as her injury started throbbing more, and she pressed her hand harder to her side.
"We need to get you and Vaughn somewhere safe. Then we'll talk about who's fault it is." Dylan turned to the newcomer, who seemed to be having a moment with Vaughn, "Heya, sorry to interrupt. What's your name?"
I can be the villan
I can be the villan
(We actually have the villain already, sorry. I just forgot to close this again.)
Kaz looked up, squinting at him for a moment. "Kaz. Kaz Weathers. And you are..?" he asked. He was a little wary of the others around them. Vaughn may know them, but he didn't, which marked them as potential threats
"Dylan Sykes. Shadow, if you prefer going by code. It's nice to see another good guy around here. Even if you are part of Vaughn's frown patrol." He smiled as he teased out the last part, then looked over to Vaughn and noticed he seemed to be in a genuinely pleasant mood, despite having been shot. "Heh, would you look at that," Dylan said, his smile turning into an amused smirk, "We're in rarified air, seeing him this happy. What gives?"
Kaz smiled happily. "I'm sort of Vaughn's partner in crime," he said, choosing not to elaborate much since he figured it was pretty obvious he and Vaughn knew each other
Avery listened silently, her eyes narrowed slightly, as Kaz and Dylan introduced themselves before she spoke.
"I'm Aspect, which, obviously, isn't my real name, but I'll give you that when I know for sure that I can trust you," she said. As soon as she had finished speaking, she swayed a bit on her feet. Dark spots popped up in her vision, likely from her loss of blood.
Kaz was in the middle of rolling his eyes before he realized Aspect was swaying. "Hey, maybe you should sit down for a bit. I've got a medic friend we could call to come to us, you really shouldn't be up and about so much."
