(NICE)
(And thank goodness you replied. I thought you hated me TT~TT)
(But thats just me overthinking literally everything lol)
He walked a few minutes away before he heard the roaring engine of the truck outside of the forest by the gate. Not wanting anything to do with it for now and eating was his best chance of surviving without going on a rampage. Man, he really didnt want to do that again.
Thinking about it made his jaw tense. Killing that Child all those months ago. He regretted it with all of the sanity he had left in that stone cold heart of his.
The girls words rang in his head and he couldn’t shake them. Vampires aren’t heartless. They have compassion. Just some a little less than others. He couldn’t help what happened to her. He was just taking a wild guess. That was normally the reason Slayers became who they were today. Not just because they thought it was cool.
Hes run into quite a few slayers and hes killed all of them quickly. Manipulation was key.
Knowing and striking their weaknesses one by one. He’s even convinced one that he himself was a vampire. It was quite fun, he did admit. The others were just bothersome little dogs to be kicked. He never liked animals, and animals never liked him. So he stayed away from them other than pigs. Their blood being closest to human blood, it sufficed another week. Though he was already out. Someone broke into his garage and stole it. Probably a new vampire. Their bloodlust was greater than ones like Min-Hyuk who’s been a vampire for about 2 years now. He still had a long way to go. Curse technical immortality.
Just as he was about to suck the man dry, he heard a howl. Not the wolves or coyotes. Something bigger.
A smirk swiveling up his soft lips, showing his white fangs, he dropped the body and ran. Not taking his motorcycle in case someone recognized him. He traveled extremely fast by foot before jumping over a stream. In midair, he was gone and only a puff of light mist left to match the fog around them.
Vampires, unlike the folk tails, instead of bats…. they turn into mist. Pure breeds have the ability to turn into wolves, though not close to that of a werewolf.
The mist flew through the air close to the ground and into the fog, passing through the gates and through the streets, he reached his destination. Finally.
Behind the store, he glanced at the two men fighting the beasts off, then at the girl.
He knew she was going to get herself into trouble soon. By that phone call, he just scoffed.
The mist disappeared and the vampire came into the scene, quickly rushing towards the wolf pinning the girl down. He was always bad with names, so until he comes up with a nickname for her, “the girl” it was.
As light on his feet as a bird, he jumped over the wolf and took its neck, pulling it aside and to the ground. And off of her. He didnt want her to die. Not just yet anyway.
The werewolf grabbed a hold of his sweater, ripping it across his chest, snarling.
Werewolves and vampires don’t usually get along. And for a good reason.
The smell of either of them can attract the opposite species in a heartbeat. Thats how Min-Hyuk found them so quickly. Though the wolves smelled him also. Which was slight trouble. But so was he.
The vampire snapped its neck, taking to knives ever so quickly and slicing the furred skin on each sides of the wolves spine, disconnecting the muscles and doing the same with the neck where the spine met the skull. Though snapping the neck, resulted in disconnecting the head from the spine.
His hand dug into the nape of its neck and pulled a white and almost silver, long spine from the wolf, making it go limp. It was dead.
Ignoring the girl whether she had gotten up to kill him or not, he quickly swung the strong spine like a whip.
Werewolves, apart from vampires have extremely strong spines. Its held together even when it wasnt with the rest of the body. Maneuverable and easily used as a whip. He was pretty sure he was the only one thats actually used the brutal spine as a whip. It was very effective though.
He quickly dashed over to the larger wolf that the men were holding off, snapping the whip among its hard skull, cracking it. The beast let out a yelp of pain before turning to Min-Hyuk.
“Finally, some decent blood” he mumbled to himself before dodging one of the wolves swipe of its claw, though scratching his cheek, drawing a decent amount of blood, as some was still splattered on his face from his previous kills.
He licked his lips and whipped the spine again at its leg before dropping it and twirling out the blade. It was silver. Yes. You wouldnt naturally see a vampire wielding silver but he had put special protection on the thick handle.
Jumping back then running toward the wolf with his momentum, he slid under the wolf, slicing its chest. Including its heart and about half of the underside of his neck. Before its insides spilled out, he used the wolfs collapsing, heavy body to push his own body away, thus out of the way of getting his body even more dirtier.
He turned to the girl as his hood fell, revealing his face. Turned away from the men, his glowing eyes glared at her, picking up the “whip” and tossing it to her. With that, he fluffed up the hood over his face, annoyed that his shirt got torn. The pale skin of his chest shown underneath, blood drawn. He would get the body once they’ve left. The edge of the forest was close enough to waist in the trees from afar with them still being inside.
He licked his own blood off of his lips, in an almost seductive way before he turned and left, the glint of silver in the moonlight, though not showing the handle covered by his sweaters sleeve would throw off the hint that he was a vampire. Either way though, the men didnt see his face, so he was fine.
Disappearing back into the forest to find any more wolves that might come near. There was a small chance they would, but they would have heard their howls. It was their choice to come and help their brethren or not.
