Caroline gasped " what have I done" she took off and ran after Brad " Brad!" She yelled

Thomas had pushed himself off the ground, and caught sight of Caroline. "Caroline!" He called out to her, running up to catch her. Brad on the other hand only picked up his pace, trying to ignore the voice calling after him.

Caroline ran faster and got in front of him " Brad! You may hate me but please* she asked

He had hot tears, running down his face. And he didn't have time to wipe them away before Caroline stepped in front of him. "W-what?" He asked sharply.

she reached up and wiped his tears with her thumb ¨don´t cry¨she begged ¨please!¨

"I already have, so what's the point?" He asked, lightly pushing her away. He was clearly not picking up her hints.

¨ The point is I love you and i don´t want you to cry… I think about you all the time I still sleep in your hoodie I watch the video of us dancing at Liam's I have your picture in my room¨ she said

"But you're with Thomas. None of that changes anything, because he's still there." Brad told her, looking to the ground. "And you can't just go break his heart. Not like I did to you."

she nodded ¨just don´t cry´ she said a tear rolling down her own cheek

Wiping his tears away, he reached over to wipe away hers'. "Fine, if that's all you want." He whispered, pulling the edge of his shirt to his lips. "Why don't you go find your boyfriend? You two have a date." He told her, not rudely, just normally.

¨im still here for you and ill get you your hoodie¨she said

Brad cringed, speaking quickly. "No, keep it. I really don't want another reminder about how I lost you." He whispered, walking around her.

She grabbed his wrist ¨Brad!¨ she said

"What?" He asked, looking to her. His stomach was turning, and he really just wanted to leave. He was trying so hard not to break down in front of her. "Please Caroline, I really have to go." At this point, Thomas had caught up and watched the two from a short distance.

¨Talk to me´ caroline said

"I can't Caro, I really need to go. Besides, there isn't much to talk about. You know all you need to." He whispered, trying to avoid looking at any of her.

She cupped his face ¨please?¨ she asked

"What am I suppose to tell you?" He asked, his voice breaking. "That everything is fine, and I'm going out with someone else now? Because I'm not going to lie to you."

¨ I don´t want you to do I just want to know if I…I made a mistake´

"How would you know you had made a mistake?" He asked, going to say almost anything to get her just to be happy. He didn't want to make her feel bad.

¨I don´t know all I know is that I miss you¨ she cried

"I'm sorry, but it's only been a few weeks. Things will get better if I'm not around Sweet thang. I promise. So you have to just let me go." He told her, glancing upwards.

she shook her head ¨No I´m not letting you go¨ she said

"Please, Caroline, this is too hard on me. I can't let you hold on." He begged, pulling away from her.

She shook her head ¨why is this so hard for you?¨she said

"Because I can't stand watching you two together. It kills me on the inside. I can't stand it Caroline." He cried, gripping onto the front of his shirt.

caroline looked at him with sad eyes and cupped the side of his neck

"I can't do this princess, I really can't. I'm barely holding myself together right now." He whispered, the tears coming back.

¨Please Just Hold on¨she begged tears running down her cheeks

"What is it?" He asked, looking back to the ground.
