Finn smiled back. He gave a soft kiss on the cheek and “thank you” after every time he helped. He might of asked for some help on questions he knew.

Jay nodded, leaning his head on Finn's shoulder tiredly. He half closed his eyes.

Finn smiled as he relaxed. He finished the paper with time to spare so he just wrapped an arm around Jay.

Jay stayed leaning against him, closing his eyes. "I love you." He whispered.

“I love you too,” he whispered.

He let out a breath.

Finn smiled. The bell rang. He sighed. The class went by so fast.

Jay sat up, getting ready to go reluctantly.

Finn kissed him on the cheek. “I’ll see you at lunch?” He asked standing up.

He nodded, getting up. "Yeah. I'll see you." He replied softly.

“I love you,” he said before waving goodbye.

"Love you too." he said in return, waving back.

Finn left and went to his next class.

Jay headed for his own class, trying to concentrate. But he was in pain still, the bruises hurting with each movement.

Finn tried not to think about how hurt Jay was but he couldn’t get himself to calm down. When it was lunch he went straight to the lunch room.

Jay went to the lunch room, looking around for Finn. His breathing was a little shaky.

Finn saw Jay and walked over. “You ok?” He asked once he was close enough to whisper.

Jay nodded slightly. "Yeah. I just…it hurts." He admitted, wrapping his arms around Finn and burying his head in Finn's chest.

Finn nodded and held his hand. He led him to a bathroom close to the lunchroom.

Jay stayed close to Finn, trying not to flinch as they walked.

Finn brought him into the handicap bathroom. He placed both their bags on the floor. “Can I see please?” He asked.

Jay nodded a little bit. He pulled off his sweater, then the t shirt beneath. His torso was dotted with bruising. There were marks on his arms from hands that had held too tightly.

Finn bit his lip hard to stop any comments that he knew wouldn’t be too comforting or calm. He opened his bag and took out a first aid kit. “Have you taken any painkillers or have any cuts?” He asked taking out bandages.

He shrugged. "I took some Advil. There weren't any cuts." he replied softly, looking at Finn.

Finn nodded. “How long ago did you take Advil?” He asked in almost a whisper. He wrapped some of the bruised area in his arm up and around his torso.

He shrugged a little bit. "This morning? Before I got on the bus." he whispered back, closing his eyes.

Finn thought for a moment but nodded. He handed jay two pills and a bottle of water. We looked at Jay his eyes where slightly watery.

Jay took the pills without a word. He saw the wateriness in Finn's eyes, and wrapped his arms around Finn, burying his head in Finn's chest.

Finn held him close still silent. He sniffed slightly but blinked it away. “You should go eat something,” he said. “Should of given you something before the pills.”

Jay nodded a little bit. "Okay. Thank you."
