( Pfft! )
"That's awesome! Aither, huh? I haven't met a wind type in a long time. Not since Hunter." He said, mentioning someone who'd moved away a while back. "It's nice to have a fresh new thing here." He admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well, newbie, remember your place." Sorrel said, eyes shut. He didn't care for Aither.
"Just because I'm new to this academy, doesn't mean I'm new to using my element," Aither said simply, deciding not to mention that he was at the top academy before moving here to stay near a clinic, just in case. "Cockroach." He did add, right before turning on his heel and going back to punching the bag.
Sorrel laughed, scoffing below his breath. "Totally. Come on, Dacchan. We don't need to mess with him right now." He said, softly. "S-Sure." He whispered, in reply. Sorrel immediately grabbed Dashan's hand and aggressively pulled him away, unknowing that Dashan had appreciated Aither's presence. Dashan looked over his shoulder, watching Aither's movements then. He was right about one thing, he was good at what he did, but he knew he wasn't at his full power.
Aither made a quick movement and kicked the punching bag, pushing all the air in his area to add strength to the kick. The bag was knocked off the chain and the chain was broken, the bag falling to the ground with a heavy thump. Aither made a victorious laugh as soon as he heard it hit the ground.
(Sorry for the late reply hun, I've had some shit happen)
( Don't worry! I'm awfully used to it, and it's okay. I should apologize, school wasn't in Friday and I was gone. )
"Dang, Sor. You shouldn't go making enemies with those kinds of people. Aither might suddenly really overpower you, and you can't even control your butterflies as-is." Dashan said, as he stopped in his tracks. Sorrel got jerked back, and ended up almost falling down. "Dashan. You will not tie yourself in with him." Sorrel muttered. His grip on Dashan tightened a little bit, forcing him to shiver slightly. "I don't want to agree with you…" Dashan whispered.
Aither felt the change in the somewhat still air of the room, he didn't turn his head, but he took notice of it. He frowned. I don't like him. He decided, letting out a huff of air and pushed Sorrel back just a bit, it was a warning honestly.
Sorrel felt himself as he moved back. The 'air nomad' must have done it. He decided to leave Dashan alone, and go off somewhere, to do who knows what. He didn't like threats that had actual power behind them. Dashan looked oddly excited about it. He smiled, and watched as Sorrel left the area around him. "Woah-" He whispered.
Aither made his way over to Dashan. "Are you alright fire boy?" He asked, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "Your boyfriend over there seems like a real dick." Wow, didn't even try to disguise his disgust.
Dashan rubbed the back of his neck. "He doesn't like people too much, only likes me and his parents." He mumbled, laughing to cover up how much he didn't like Sor either. "I'm fine thanks to you, you're really a life saver, you know?" He praised the other.
"That's not healthy." Aither raised an eyebrow, adjusting his bag strap. "Where are you going next? You want to head to the cafe, I need to apologize for being an ass by buying you food."
"Y-You don't have to pay, I'm fine, but food does sound wonderful," Dashan stuttered. Aither was really sweet for suggesting it. "I don't do anything but him anyways. New things are a good change." He added, with a wonky smile.
"I'm paying," Aither stated, obviously not going to be budged. "Pick a place, just make sure it's not expensive please, I only have so much money from my job."
"Okay then, how about the Chinese food place nearby?" Dashan suggested. Homeland food, that's the best stuff. He honestly didn't understand Aither's urge to pay, but accepted it anyways.
Aither nodded. "Sounds good to me, I don't think I've been there yet. But, I've heard good things." He shrugged, pulling a jacket from his bag and throwing it on. "Lead the way. Preferably take my hand, I can't see anything and I really don't feel like trying to use my magic right now."
Dashan, with a sudden, subtle blush, took Aither's hand. He noticed how it felt, it interested him. He gently led Aither through a simple, busy street. Cars weren't allowed here, but foot traffic was thick. "What brought you here?" He asked Aither, with a tilted head.
Aither, of course, didn't see the blush.
"My uncle had a friend who teaches here and wanted me to come to this school." He shrugged, tightening his grip on the hand when he began to hear the traffic.
"Ohh, I see," Dashan said. He noticed Aither's hand squeezing his ever so more tightly. "It's okay, I won't let them get in our way." Dashan made quite good of the promise, clearing the way rather well, despite for a few girls that wanted something from him. money shook them off easily.
"Very sorry. I'm not used to… Larger crowds." Aither apologized, giving a small smile of thanks to Wounded Puppy Dashan. His head swiveled around, using a little bit of air just to mark where the buildings were.
( omg lol )
"Don't worry, you're fine." Dashan gestured to the front of them, quickly, as if to disturb the air a little. "That's where it is," He said, with an excited tone. You could practically smell the scents outside of the restaurant. "Delicious..~" He complimented the scents.
