Danny hummed quietly, though Bela quickly joined in with her own little tune. She crawled off his lap, dancing a little to their new song.

You promised mom. Besides, you don't want to get involved with Keats again. He started to chew on his knuckle absently.
Bela got swept up in the flurry of action, quickly joining into the dogpile forming on the living room floor. Danny sighed, waiting for the right time to break the mound of werewolves apart.
He got up, and tidied up the apartment some more, then got out his laptop. I'll work. That'll help, if I work and distract myself.
“Alright, you little devils..” Danny sighed, prying the child-conglomerate apart by the scruffs of their necks.
(I gtg to bed soon. Also, do we wanna timeskip? And if so, to when?)
He started to work. He really did try. But he soon found himself trying to research, again, curses and breaking of them.
(gn! also yea, but i’m not sure when. maybe danny is outside with his siblings (like at a park?) and alex runs into him again?)
The subsequent fallout was a mixture of babbling, baby snarling, and screams of toddler rage. Danny sighed, sitting cross-legged on the scuffed floor. The group continued to hunt each other down, ending up once again in a writhing pile of children.
(Hmmm yeah that would work!)
Alex kept researching, even though he had read most of these articles before. Even though there was nothing new that he could learn.
(cool, cool. should i wrangle that up?)
Danny was swept up in the action, falling prey to the pack of werewolves. He was quickly pounced on, one child going as far as to bite his arm. Danny yipped sharply, getting the offending child to.. not bite him. “Hey, buddy- maybe we do t do that. Not cool, brother.” Danny ruffled up the kid’s hair.
(yes please!)
He eventually closed his computer, frustrated. No leads, and I can't focus. He groaned, raking his fingers through his hair. I'm such a fucking idiot.
(cool cool- so just fyi, this response takes places during the ts)
Danny sat crouched in the park, watching the younger werewolves play and horse around. A lot of wrestling and fighting, as normal, but they weren’t hurt each other yet. The Nevada sun beat down like a hammer on the grass.
(alright!)
Alex headed to the park. It had been a few days since the curse incident had happened, which was good. He wasn't sure when his next would happen. He took a deep breath as he walked.
Danny was now on the ground- wrestling with a few of the kids. He had been pushed flat onto his back, and clearly needed to defend himself against the horrific onslaught of little grabby hands and fangs.
Alex came into the park, a light jacket on, hanging unzipped over a t shirt. His hands were stuffed in the pockets of his jeans, and his eyes were unfocused as he walked, deep in his own thoughts.
The sounds of barking and snapping meant that most did not, in fact, want to come near the gaggle of werewolves. The group was rowdy and aggressive, without a doubt.
(so uh. Apparently there are 17 people that may or may not have Coronavirus being quarantined like 20 minutes away from my house)
Alex had earbuds in to listen to music, and so couldn't hear anything, and since his eyes were directed down to the ground at his feet, he didn't even see the werewolves.
(oh what the fuck! dude that’s fucking scary as shit)
“Oh, dude, Cherry, not fair!” Danny yelped, unlatching the child’s jaw from his forearm. “Don’t bite!”
(yeah that was basically my response too lmao)
(Also should Alex like…trip over one of them?)
Alex was still listening to his music, humming along softly. He began to mouth the words to himself, too.
(stay safe man!!)
(also yes, that would be perfect!)
Cherry whined in annoyance, continuing to fight with Danny. She rolled off of him at some point, hiding out in a particularly tall patch of grass.
(I'ma try lol)
(Alright!)
Alex let out a yelp as he stumbled over a small shape, tripping and stumbling as he tried not to fall to the ground. He pulled out an earbuds as he regained his balance.
Cherry just so happened to be the one Alex had stumbled over. She let out a sharp bark-like sound, staying on the ground. The young werewolf snapped at Alex’s ankles, nearly taking a bite out of them before Danny scrambled over, scooping her up. “Shoot, uh- did you trip over her?”
Alex stared at the little werewolf, then at Danny. He inhaled. "Er. Yeah, I did." He looked at Cherry. "Sorry about that. I didn't see you. I should have been paying better attention."
Danny looked over the small child’s hands and legs, trying to find bumps and scrapes. “She doesn’t talk much. You’re fine, though. If you weren’t, you would know.” He laughed slightly, pulling a loose bandaid from his pocket and plastering it over a scratch on her knee.
Alex nodded a little, glancing down at his ankles. "Uh huh. I don't know much about how the whole werewolf thing is spread, but the last thing I need right now is becoming one on top of everything else." He let out a faint laugh, thinking of his father, his curse, his mother, the funeral they were already planning…he knew that anything else and something would give.
“Oh, dude, you’re fine. She’s too young to transfer anything, girl hasn’t even had her first shift yet.” Danny waved off his question, now busy with trying to make sure Cherry didn’t take a piece out of his hand. “This is Cherry, by the way.”
He nodded a little. "Alright." He replied. He realized after a moment that he didn't really know much about Danny's family. If the other male had been born a werewolf or not. But he didn't ask, knowing that would be impolite. He smiled at the smaller werewolf. "Alright. Nice to meet you, Cherry. I'm Alex, though I can't tell if you're paying attention to me." He laughed softly.
Cherry’s lips peeled up in a snarl, her black gums on full display as she bared her teeth and snapped at Alex. “She’s just playing, swear.” Danny ruffled Cherry’s hair, moving to hold the younger girl like a baby (which was not appreciated).
Alex nodded a little bit, transferring his golden eyes from Cherry, back to Danny. "She better be." he replied with a soft laugh. "My family's paying enough hospital bills, and I'd rather not go down in history as the guy that got beat by a…little tiny werewolf child."
“Hey, you wouldn’t be the first guy she’s beat.” Danny laughed, though he quickly wheeled around to see why there were suddenly more barks. The other children were wrestling a little more aggressively now, snapping at each other’s necks and heads. “Oh, for f-! Hold on Alex, sorry.” He scurried over, quickly separating the mounting fight.
He chuckled, then nodded. While waiting for Danny, he turned off his music, putting the earbuds away. He would have offered to help, but…he wasn't sure that, as a normal(ish) human, his help would be very useful in dealing with a group of werewolf children.
