She gave him a a sad smile " I'm sorry" she said and held his hands

Thomas shook it off, not dropping her hands. "It's alright, no big deal."

She nodded running her thumb over his knuckles

"Do you have any stories?" He asked, feeling his face warm.

She smiled " there was this one time my sister and I Jane well I was talking to this boy I liked and she pushed me and this boy and fell in the lake behind us but it was all good I got my first kiss" she said

"Wait really? That's not something you hear every day." He smiled again, resting his chin on his palms.

She giggled " I guess not"

"I mean, you got something sweet out of it." Thomas laughed, reaching over to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.

Caroline blushed looking up into his eyes

"You're eyes… are gorgeous." He whispered in amazement.

She blushed a deeper shade " thank you" she said not loosing eye contact

Without much notice, he leaned in some. "They're such a brilliant shade, rather captivating…"

Caroline leaned in without realizing it

"They're like a siren… they lure you in…" His voice got lower, as the two grew closer.

They were so close she could feel his breath against her lips

"And you just can't," He paused, feeling her lips slightly against his. "Escape."

She felt thier lips together and kissed him gently

Thomas rested a hand against her cheek, leaning in more to the kiss. His thoughts whizzed, and he wasn't sure what he was doing. But he liked it.

She placed a hand on top of his liking the feeling of his lips against hers

Thomas let his thoughts snap back, pulling away. "I-I'm sorry."

Caroline pulled back as well " no I'm sorry I'm the one who kissed you" she said

"Wait- I thought I was…" He mumbled, his face growing warmer. "I thought I was bothering you."

She shook her head " I kissed you" she said

"I-I just…" He fell quiet, leaning closer to her once more.

She looked up at him leaning towards him

He kissed her, leaning in. He wasn't regretting it this time.

She kissed him back fluttering her eyes shut

He leaned more into her lips, resting a hand on her side. "You're spectacular." He mumbled.

" how?" She asked against his lips

"B-because…" He mumbled back, pulling away just enough. "You just… are."
