She smiled and held out her hand

Thomas took her hand, pulling it over his shoulders. “Would this be easier?”

She nodded " Thank you Thomas" she said as they walked out into the Hall

Thomas nodded, slipping his arms around her waist for more support. “But of course, Caroline.” He grinned, helping her along.

She smiled but it immediately dropped when she saw Brad

Thomas watched her face, and his brow dropped. "What's wrong?" Thomas asked her. Brad didn't flinch when he saw the two.

She sighed " that's my Soon to be ex boyfriend because he thinks I like you" she said

"O-Oh, it's my fault?" He asked, sucking in a deep breath.

" No our relationship is falling apart and if we're being honest I'd much rather be with you than him right now" she said

Thomas was a little surprised, pulling his arm away from her waist. "I… I should give you two some privacy. Are you alright to walk?" Thomas asked her.

She nodded " I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that" she said

"N-no you're alright, but this is personal." He mumbled, letting her go. "I'll see you later."

She nodded and limped over to Brad leaning on the lockers

Thomas waved, and walked away. Brad stood there, lightly smiling. "Hey,"

" Hi…" She said with a smile

"What's a matter with your knee?" He asked, knowing the answer.

" just cut to the chase Brad" she said

Brad sucked in a deep breath. "Look, do you like him?"

" I just met him but I don't know but I do know is we're constantly fighting and we can't be together" she said

"Hold up, that's just how you want things to go? You just want to leave because I came to talk to you?" Brad questioned.

" Brad I can't breathe anymore my panic attacks are getting worse" she said

"And it's my fault this is happening?" He asked, crossing his arms.

Caroline sighed and turned to walk away

"I saw you two, in the office." He called after her. "You seemed pretty lip close."

" oh my God Brad " she said " yes Thomas is very attractive extremely attractive" she added

"Yeah, that's what I thought." He muttered, his jaw clenching some. "Goodbye Caroline."

She rolled her eyes and walked off weeks passed and Caroline had avoided Brad and now it was Saturday and she was sitting on her bed with Thomas in front of her and he said said something which resulted in her laughing

"I'm not kidding! He really did fall off the bridge." Thomas laughed too, telling her random stories from his home in France. He loved seeing her smile, bright and cheerful. "The look on his face was hilarious."

" oh gosh I shouldn't be laughing I'm sorry" she said as she continued to laugh

"No, no it's alright. Me and Everette laugh about it all the time." He chuckled, before it dyed down. "Well, at least, did."
