“Uh- yeah, alright.” Danny followed after her, keeping Alex held close to him. “Uh, ma’am- how often does this happen, exactly?”
“Uh- yeah, alright.” Danny followed after her, keeping Alex held close to him. “Uh, ma’am- how often does this happen, exactly?”
"Hm. Once or twice a week, usually. It was worse when Keats was around." she replied, unlocking the door to Alex's apartment.
“A week? Jesus..” Danny mumbled, walking into Alex’s apartment. He looked around, then back at Mrs Parker. “What should I do with him, ma’am? Just set him on the bed?”
She nodded. "Just tuck him into the bed and leave him. He'll be fine in the morning." she sighed softly.
“‘S ma’am.” Danny nodded, setting Alex down on his bed and tucking him in. He had a surprising amount of experience with this for a man so young, given his young siblings and all.
Alex let out a soft, sleepy hum as he was tucked into the bed, but didn't wake up or move. Mrs Parker sighed softly. "If you want to stay the night, you're on the couch, young man. I don't know what you are to him, if anything, but he doesn't need to wake up with someone else in his bed again."
“Oh, jesus- don’t get the wrong idea, miss, we’re not— I have a boyfriend.” Danny laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. “We’re just friends.” He sat on the couch, twiddling his thumbs. “I might stay though, just to make sure he’s okay.”
"That's ma'am or Mrs Parker." She replied primly. "I'm too old to be a "miss"." she nodded a little bit. "What I said still stands. Couch if you stay, and if I hear any strange noises, I'm coming in here." she looked at him with a hint of challenge in her eyes.
“Sorry, sorry.” Danny ducked his head, his voice a bit regretful. “I’m just going to ignore that you think I’m the type to cheat on my partners, ma’am. I won’t.. do anything. You can trust me.”
Mrs Parker sighed softly. "I better be able to." she replied, shaking her head a little bit. "Can I have your name, by the way?"
Danny stood back up, holding his hand out offer a handshake. “Danny Vasquez.” A silver ring with his pack insignia engraved into it glinted on his hand.
She spotted the insignia, but said nothing about it as she shook his hand. "Therese Parker." she replied with a sharp nod. "Now. I'm heading out. If you need help with anything, you can knock on my door."
“Yes ma’am. 202, right?” Danny twisted his ring, sitting back on the couch.
She nodded again. "Yes. The blankets, by the way, are there." she pointed to a box holding an assortment of folded blankets.
Danny gave her a thumbs-up, rubbing his eyes. He pulled out his phone, notifying Fraser where he was just in case- not the address, of course, just where he was.
Mrs Parker headed out of the apartment, closing the door behind her. The living room of the small apartment was clean, the couch just long enough that Danny could probably lay down.
Danny flopped onto his back, rubbing his face. He looked over at Alex with a frown, remembering what had just happened.
The door to Alex's room was open, the small figure of the other male visible where he lay in his bed.
He shifted uncomfortably, unable to fall asleep. Danny stared at the ceiling, trying to adjust to the lack of extreme noise outside.
(idk what to describe…)
There was a coffee table, upon which was a small collection of remotes.
(honestly, we could probably skip to morning unless you have an idea, lmao)
Danny finally drifted off, his arms resting on top of his head to block any little bit of light.
(let's skip lmao. You wanna do it, or should I?)
(do you mind?)
(Not at all!)
Alex awoke in the morning with a soft groan, rolling onto his back, then getting out of his bed. What happened…? Then he remembered. The curse. Damn. He sighed as he stood up, running a hand through his hair and padding softly to the door of his room, where he spotted Danny on the couch. Oh.
Danny was still asleep, even snoring quietly. He looked tired, like this was the first chance of uninterrupted sleep he had had in ages.
He smiled slightly, and headed into the kitchen to make breakfast. He started the coffee pot, and began to work on scrambled eggs.
The different noises and smells from the kitchen gradually roused Danny awake, who had sort of forgotten where he was. The werewolf sat up with a start, his hair sticking up every which way.
Alex didn't notice, working on making sure the eggs didn't burn. He hummed softly as he did so.
The memories flooded back to Danny, and he relaxed somewhat. He looked at Alex suspiciously, not sure if the curse had taken over or not, ignoring the fact that if it did, chances were that Alex wouldn’t exactly be taking time to cook right about now.
(you just used two different character names for Alex, and only one was correct lmao)
Alex kept working. He hoped Danny could eat eggs, otherwise he wasn't sure what to feed the Werewolf male.
