Laura-Beth was screaming… quite loudly as the stranger held her. She didn't like him. She wanted her mom and dad.

Even Henry stopped his fight, in shock, when he heard what was happening.

Laura-Beth cried out as she fell. She was still scared even after Betty caught her.

Lysander let out a breath of relief when Tyler and Betty saved their daughter. He looked up at Tyler. ”Thank you.”

Betty kissed her daughter's cheek and stroked her hair

The kiss and gentle touches helped to calm Laura-Beth down some but she was still crying, just much softer now.
