Brad had gotten home late the night before, and decided to skip sleeping and just drink a pot of coffee to hold him over for the day. So he was off to his brother's apartment to just hang out for the day.

Caroline was currently in the shower softly singing

Brad pulled up to the apartment building, and jogged up the stairwell to his door. He knocked lightly, and Taylor opened it with a smile. "Hey bro, what's up?" Taylor asked coming in for a hug. "Just thought I'd come over and hang out if you're cool with that."

Caroline had left her phone on the coffee table and it buzzed getting a message from Lilli

"Yeah, yeah sure." Taylor said holding the door open. Brad caught a glimpse of the phone, and his brow furrowed. "That's ironic, you have the same phone as Caroline." He laughed some, walking into the space.

This time her phone rang with her ringtone of the song let you down by NF

"W-wait that is Caroline's phone?" He said, picking it up and turning to Taylor. "What is Caroline doing here?" He asked his brother, rather defensively. Taylor furrowed his brow rather confused. "She lives here?"

Caroline walked out in a long shirt and some leggings " Taylor have you seen my hair bru- " she started when she saw brad

Brad stood up straight, crossing his arms over his chest. "Hey babe." He said a little firmly, more than upset.

Caroline gulped, " Hey baby" she said fiddling with her thumbs
(Night)

“How are you? Did you sleep well?” He questioned, his arms still crossed.

" I slept fine" Caroline responded

"Yeah, that's nice. No guilt keeping you up at night?" He asked a little coolly.

She pushed him outside and crossed her arms " what's your problem?" She asked

“You, that’s my problem.” He snarled, pushing her away from him.

" I didn't do a fucking thing" she growled

"You moved in with my brother! You didn't think I'd be ticked?"

" He offered! What was i supposed to do continue to let my dad beat the shit out of me for me being involved with a gang leader' she yelled

"You could've have told me!" He yelled back, frustrated that she wouldn't tell him these things. "You could have at least informed me of these things!"

" I tried I went to your house I called nothing' she said

"I never got your call!" He said firmly, crossing his arms.

" well I called…look I you don't want me living here I'll go back home" she said

"No, I don't want you to do that. I just want you to tell me these things." He rubbed his face in distress.

She sighed, " thank you for fixing me up yesterday ' she said and started to hear back inside

"Listen, I love you." He said softly, following her back inside.

"but?" She asked
