"Oh, shit," Archia says making a few heads turn as he runs towards the office to let them know someone's breaking in.

(Lol sorry Astelle is kind of the the wistful yet popular person. If that makes sense. )
Astelle looked toward the running kid through the cloudy window in the hallway. He was out of breath, and the secretary didn't really seem to care. She entered the office, curious as to what was going on.

The woman looked down on Archia eyes seemingly glazed over. That's the moment She jumped out of her chair trying to grab him. "You belong to the company now!" She screamed incoherently. This was not the only incident other children and adults stood and ran after some Certain people.

"EEEEK!" Astelle screamed as another office worker sprinted towards her like they did to the kid. She grabbed the kid's hand and ran out of the chaotic room.

Archia and Astelle run out into the cafeteria to see the ensuing chaos unfolding. The fedora dude had pulled a gun and starting shooting! Archia looks over to Astelle. "Thanks for the help. BUT WE NEED TO RUN!" As he runs out the door he looks back to see the man run after them.

(Actually I'll just add my piece.)
Astelle ran as fast as she could, trailing the kid. She could hear a cacophony of screams and gunshots behind her. She thought she could hear someone following them, but decided to keep running and not look back.

Helen hopped down from her perch in the tree, still contemplating. She thought she would just go and check out what all that noise was coming from the public school. Her mom never let her go there, she was forbidden, but if someone was in trouble- her mother still would never let her go. She would shake her head, disappointingly and say, "Leave the stupid matukus to die." Helen never understood why her mother- her whole family- was a magiphobe.

As Astelle raced down the sidewalk next to the cafeteria, an idea hit her. The guy was gaining on them and there was next to no chance that someone with as little stamina as Astelle could keep this up. She ducked into the courtyard near the gym, fully prepared to use her vocal powers. To her shock, the man shot a dirty look at her and kept chasing after her new friend. Now there was a dilemma. In a split second decision she took off after the man to protect the kid, for reasons she doesn't quite understand.

Helen darted towards the school, her curiosity getting the best of her. How bad could the matuku be anyways?

"Helen!" 5th time this month she'd gone missing. Oberon groaned, his calves already aching. Every single time his sister went missing, he was the one who had to find her. He ran into a particularly big tree, not paying attention. "Ow." Walking around the trunk, approaching the public high school he saw a flash of blonde hair- Helen- and followed her fast pace towards the school, every step disobeying his mother's words. "Don't ever go to the school. No matter what."

Helen arrived just in time to see a man entering the school. Screams were audible from the inside. If Helen went in, she would be disobeying her mother's direct orders. If she stayed outside, she wouldn't get to know what happened. The lack of information was killing her. Her hesitation was just enough for her brother, Oberon, to catch up with her. Hand outstretched, ready to grab her shoulder and take her home, Helen realized that wasn't an option. She wanted to see everything, and if that meant getting in trouble, then she would risk it. Helen dashed inside, only stopping to open the large, heavy doors of the high school.
