"Oh please, my little sis had gotten into knitting, and I got the runt of the batch. Per-usual." She muttered the last bit, before pulling another box over, opening it. In the box was a bunch of VCR tapes, and a smile broke out on her lips. "That's where I put those!"
"Oh do you have the player somewhere around here?" he seemed excited to see the tapes
(I gtg to bed, so night!)
"It's in my bedroom… somewhere. It's such a mess right now, I don't know where specifically." She laughed, sliding over the box to him.
"I just wanna know how the love of my life grew up!" Tempest chirped happily
Joanna wasn't facing him, so she let the cringe rest on her face. Pushing away her half-pained expression, she turned to look at him. "Yeah, we can do that. I think it's under my bed."
Tempest hadn't seen the pain, but her voice had changed just a bit. He didn't ask her about it though for he thought perhaps it was the dust that caused it "Alright anything else you wanna go through?"
"Not particularly. Anything you want to?" She asked, resting her chin on her knee. "If not, could you carry this box? It's really heavy, and I can't pick it up." She asked, humming softly.
Tempest shifted to his canine-like form and picked up the box with a little huff, stacking the album on top "Let's go them!" he happily said
Pushing herself off the floor, she stood in front of him. "Go ahead, lead the way." She told him, a slight smile was on her lips.
He head out of the storage area and to her room again "I need to get you a piano keyboard." he decided as they walked
"A-what? Why?" She asked, rather surprised at his comment. "Why do I need a keyboard Temp?"
"You need to keep in practice of course!" he chuckled a bit "Easier to give you lessons here than at the studio"
"I mean, I guess that's true." She shrugged, fiddling with her crimson hair. "But, if I go to the studio with you, practically every day, wouldn't that be just as easy?"
"I suppose so." he said, tilting his head a bit "Alright let's find that tape player"
She pushed open her door, letting Tempest in. "Join me whenever, I'll be in my room." She hummed, jogging past him. Her clothes were scattered all over the floor, so she was going to attempt to at least get that cleaned up.
"I'm gonna go change real quick I'll be right back" He responded and slipped out of her apartment, going into his room and changing into a pair of dark jeans and a plain royal blue tee shirt
"Alright!" She shouted out after him. She was quick to gather the things on her floor, tossing them in the laundry basket. "That's going to be fun to do." She mumbled, rolling her eyes.
He walked back in after giving his teeth a quick brush and clean "I'm back." he called as he peeked into her doorway
“Come on in my room!” She chirped to him, from under her bed. Her top half was Under the bed, and her legs were sticking out, as she tried to pull a box from the middle out.
He got on the other side and chuckled, pushing it softly to her
"Oh! Hey, thank you!" She hummed, pulling the box with her as she shuffled out. "Sorry, I tried to clean up some, but my room is still messy." She laughed, coming out from under the bed.
"It's alright." he responded with a little chuckle "So is that the player?"
"Yup, just have to get it out of the box." Joanna laughed, unfolding the top of the box. "Thank you again."
He helped her unpack and smiled "no problem Jo!" He seemed excited to see his girlfriend's past
"It won't be anything exciting, trust me." She mumbled, lifting her green eyes to rest on him. "I just don't want you to expect these great things."
"Well normal…I like normal. My past was far from that so it's…kinda appealing to just see regular family things." he shrugged and looked over to see how to set up the player
"If you say so." She shrugged, unplugging her DVD player. Pulling it out, she set it aside, leaving a space for the VCR. "Do you know how to plug it in, or do you need me to?"
"Nah this stuff is old I know how to do it." he responded and pulled the VCR in place of the DVD player and plugged all the cords in "Just about ready." he mumbled
“Alright love.” She hummed standing up. Ruffling his hair, she turned and shuffled through the box of tapes. ’Which terrible childhood memory do I want to be reminded of…’
The plugged on last thing in and popped his head back out from and said "Alrighty beautiful I only need a tape!"
