Nightfall watched the exchange between Spinel and Amethyst, wondering what exactly made Spinel change into a happy pink ray of sunshine.

Steven saw Nightfall staring at them and invited her to come over, wondering what it was that she was thinking.

She walked over and sat next to Steven, though she kept glancing at Spinel curiously.

“Oh, you must be confused about this.” He whispered, “That’s Spinel, if you didn’t recognize her.”

"I know." She whispered back. "I'm just thinking….what happened that turned her into a happy, pink ray of sunshine?"

“I don’t know the details, but…Alastor happened, he struck her with a scythe thingy and now she’s like…this. Steven replied, feeling bad for Amethyst.

"Oh…do you think there's a way to fix it?" Nightfall asked. "I mean, hitting her with the…the scythe is probably a bad idea."

He nodded, “She called it a rejuvenator, but refused to give any context. And, I’m not sure, Amethyst and I considered that we might be able to create her memories from scratch.”

"From scratch? You do realize you don't know every single one of her memories, right?" She responded, glancing at the two gems again.

“…Yes….but I’m hoping that the…keystone memories will change her back.”

"Well….I'll help in any way I can Steven. Let me know if there's anything I can do."

“I’m…not sure how you could help though….” He sighed, glancing at Amethyst with worry.

“Natsu, my friend, his magic harms people… mine helps people! I think it’s cool, I even have enchantments to help others!” Poppy says excitedly, the water still staying, looking very calm and relaxed, just like she was. “Natsu usually harms people, I don’t know why. I love helping, and he’s a fighter. I don’t like fighting… oh! I remember I still have food, do you want some?”
Poppy still had her bag on her back, it was somewhat small, but big enough for a couple sandwiches and candy. She was always hungry, so she always had food on her.
(I’ve been on and off, that’s because I’ve been distracted. I’m trying to get back into stuff I like, like full on stories and drawing characters, so my time has been focused on that, and I’ve been setting rping back I apologize.)

Anti hand moved so He was just chilling in a tree. There wasn’t much for him to do so he decided he was just going to take a nap in a tree

"I know…I just wish I could…" Nightfall replied, watching a butterfly slowly flutter its wings as it rested on a flower.

“Well, I think the best thing to do is to let her enjoy herself.” Steven said, trying to reassure her.

"Alright." She nodded, shifting her gaze to the clouds. "Have you ever flown before?" She asked, turning back to Steven.

“Not like you have, no. But I can float.” He replied, sighing and hoping this feeling of pity would leave soon.

"Hey Spinel, would you like to play patty-cake?" Amethyst asks.

"Do you want to fly?" She asked, a slightly mischievous grin spread across her features.

(Wheeze-)
“What’s that??!” Spinel gasped.
“I dunno, I feel like I should be keeping an eye on everyone…” Steven shrugged.

"Alright. I get it. I would do the same thing. Just thought, you know, we've gotta keep our spirits high, right?" She turned her eyes to a red bird on a tree branch. "It's fine if you don't feel like it now."

“Okay. I’ll see to it later.” He sighed, turning his attention back to the two Gems.

Poppy lost her smile as Spinel looked away from her, she didn’t understand her sudden happiness. Was it Spinel’s doing? Was she just happy to see a friend with a smile? She wasn’t sure, it confused her greatly, the thought was held over her head. She watched as Amethyst interacted with Spinel, it gave her a soft smile, seeing them interact cutely, she totally shipped it.

Steven was trying to put together the pieces of what happened, too.
Alastor struck her with the rejuvenator… He thought, Rejuvenator…rejuvenate..? As in to make younger..? But Gems don’t age… Rejuvenate…to make new! It reset her, turned her back to how she was made!
He figured it out, but if this was the case, this made the weapon much more dangerous…
“Guys, I know what’s wrong with S- …I mean, what Alastor did!” Steven announced.
