About to put her phone back, a notification popped up on the screen. Smiling softly, she responded before glancing back up to the others. “They’re almost done, and said they’d meet us back at the house.” She hummed, tucking it in her back pocket.
Love you too, so much.
Did you find a dress that piqued your interest? Raven bit his lip while they tailored his suit.
Maybe~
She sent back with a smirk before looking back up to the girls. “Where are we off to for lunch?”
"Do you want Japanese food or American food?" Rebecca asked first. "Or do you just want Raven for lunch?"
Face flushing, she crossed her arms over her chest. "Not you too," She whined, rubbing her temple. "I really don't care, between American or Japanese."
"Okay, okay, we'll go to a close ramen shop by here," Rebecca smirked.
"Is there something that we're missing?" Chariot and Charlotte were synced in their words.
"Yes, but I'm not explaining." Ira mumbled, walking up to the door to hold it for the other girls. "Come on, let's get to that Ramen shop."
They looked at each other and shrugged. "So? How did you two meet? I've been dying to hear, but he never wants to tell me."
"And there's a reason behind that. If I tell you, you can't tell a soul I did." She hummed, watching her feet as she walked down the side walk.
"Cross our hearts and hope to die!" they all got excited.
"We met at a party in L.A.. I was off in the corner, by myself, with two drinks in my hand. Mostly so I could keep drunk men off of me." She laughed lightly, glancing back at the girls. "I mean, don't take this as self pride, but I'm pretty hot." She laughed to herself, running her hands down her figure. "Anyways, the night was going on, I had had a few 'princes' come to 'court' me, though scurried off as soon as they realized I was holding two drinks."
"Trust me it's okay to love yourself and say that you're hot. Every woman has that right. What happened next…" Ivory bumped her shoulder playfully.
"Well, then your brother came along. I kid you not, the man was starstruck, as he came up to me. He treated me different than the other guys, giving more space and more careful with his words. He didn't take the hint though, so for me things got kind of awkward." Ira laughed lightly, remembering the night rather clearly.
"Oh? Never knew he was such a gentleman in America." Chariot nodded. "Then what?"
"Well, basically, he asked me out. So you expect me to humor him, and go out on a date with him. Right?" She hummed, clicking her tongue. Pausing for the dramatic effect, she smirked slightly. "Well you'd be wrong. I basically blew him off, and… a lot more happened, that I totally regret." She mumbled, sighing some. "But it turns out, after a lot of begging on his part, I'm getting married to him in a few days."
"Wait! What happened that you regretted!" Rebecca shook Ira's arm as they walked.
"I… said some things, I really don't want to repeat." She mumbled, trying not to let Rebecca's insisting get to her. "Trust me, it wasn't good."
"Well, those words didn't seem to phase guess he's just too in love with you." Ivory giggled. They walked into the restaurant and sat at a table and waited to be served.
"I honestly think he was too drunk to remember." She snickered, twirling a strand of loose hair around her finger. "But that's besides the point."
"Well, you two deserve each other. I wish you a happy marriage indeed!" Charlotte laughed. "It's been quite lovely getting to know you, too bad you have to go back to America soon!"
"I'm positive Raven will bring me back. Probably sometime in the summer." Ira explained, loving the girl's enthusiasm. "If he doesn't, I'll drag him out here and we'll book a hotel for a week."
"Are you serious?! Awesome!" the twins hugged Ira and laughed.
"Of course!" She smiled, laughing just the same as them. "But… we may have to come later. Or possibly sooner." Ira didn't explain, but she assumed she would probably be with child during the summer time.
"Ohhhhhh, I get it. Do you have a name yet?" Rebecca smirked.
"I'm not pregnant yet!" She laughed, not actually 100% sure on that fact. "We've barely talked about it, it's just been decided we want a family."
"You should talk about it with him then. You should let him know what you want." Ivory grabbed the glass of water on the table and drank from it.
"I don't really have a preference. I want him to get to make part of the decision." She explained, drumming her fingers on the table. "Knowing him, even if he hated the name he'd go with it because he wants to make me happy."
"Stop. Did you forget that you're the one carrying this baby? You have to have a preference or you won't be happy being pregnant without at least speaking your mind. You have to want it too." Rebecca rubbed her shoulder.
Taking in a deep breath, she nodded some. “I do, I definitely do. I just don’t want to seem needy. Raven does so much for me. All the time.”
"If you think you're needy now wait till you get pregnant but besides the point. If he were here and you two were having a conversation about this and he asked you what you want. What would you tell him?" Rebecca asked.
