"Nick! Come on. Lucas wants you." The nurse took Nick's arm and led him down the hallways.
"What's wrong. Is he okay?!" Nick looked worried.

Lucas was unconscious by the time they returned, trembling slightly where he lay.

Nick felt around the bed before finally finding Lucas. He rubbed his arms, feeling how tense he was. The ambulance came and moved Lucas into the tuck. Nick couldn't fallow so he went to the hospital with the nurse and waited.

Lucas was checked out thoroughly, and eventually, the doctor came out to talk to the nurse and Nick. "He's definitely concussed, but it doesn't seem to be severe, and he's stable. He should still be able to go to school, but I don't want him participating in Gym until his symptoms fade. He's likely to have sudden bouts of dizziness, headaches, and some trouble concentrating, but if anything more severe than that happens, bring him back in. He's awake now if you'd like to visit him."

The nurse nodded and bowed in thanks. "Okay, how about I take you two home for today? It's almost the end of the day anyway and I think you would love to sleep in your own bed." she laughed. "Doctor, is he awake right now?"

"Yes, he's awake. He's been given pain medication for his headache, but it may not kick in for a bit." He opened the door and led them into the room where Lucas was curled up on the bed. He looked up when the nurse and Nick walked in, seeming to brighten a bit.

Nick walked forward to the bed and got in. "Here we are again," whispered, wrapping his hands around Lucas's waist.

"Yep…" Lucas huddled close to Nick and sighed. "We spend far too much time in this place."

"Well, you spend. I on the other hand only spent a couple of days in here." Nick laighed.

Lucas rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah… I'm just accident prone, okay?"

"Alright, Alright…just joking." he grinned. "The nurse is going to take us home so. I'll help you up. If I can find your hands."

Lucas took his hands and allowed Nick to help him up. He staggered a little when he first stood and took a few seconds to catch his balance, but soon seemed to be okay.

"Tell me if we're moving to fast okay?" Nick started walking having Lucas as his guide.
"You guys will be riding with me okay? How do you feel Lucas?" She asked.

"Mm…" Lucas kept a firm grip on Nick's hand, looking rather pale. "Bit nauseous, really dizzy… kinda hard to get my eyes to focus."

"You'll be able to lay down when you guys get home." she unlocked the car and helped Lucas and Nick inside. "You guys are one heck of a couple." Joy shook her head and started to drive to Nick's house.
"How are your hands?" he touched them softly knowing they were burned from the rope. "Were they okay when I held your hand?"

"Um… they hurt quite a bit, but the doctor bandaged them, so holding your hand wasn't too bad." Lucas looked down at his hands and sighed. "They'll heal, though… I've done worse."

Nick went silent knowing what he meant. He leaned on his shoulder. "I want this all to be a dream. Just so I get to see you again."

"Me too, love…" Lucas sighed softly again and leaned into Nick as well.

Joy drove them to Nick's apartment. "Do guys remember the room number and do one of you have the key?" she asked looking in the back seat.
Nick raised his head and nodded. He got out of the car. "Lead me to our room." he started to walk with Lucas's hand.

Lucas nodded and led Nick upstairs after he'd thanked nurse Joy. "You have the keys, love?" He asked once they arrived.

"Yeah…they're in my bag can you get them?" Nick gave Lucas his bag.

"Mhmm." Lucas fished the keys out of the bag and managed to open the door. He led Nick inside once it was open.

"Can I kiss you more now?" he whispered, finding his shoulders before wrapping his arms around Lucas.

"Yeah, love… gimme a sec." Lucas closed the door behind them before gently pressing his lips to Nick's.

"I love you~" he smiled kissing him again. "I love the way you kiss me…"

"I love you too, darling." Lucas pressed a bit closer, ignoring his dizziness for now.

"Let's lay down. Bring me to the bed my prince!" he giggled and kissed his neck.

"Alright, alright. I'm not gonna carry you, though. We'd both fall." Lucas took Nick's hand and brought them to their room.

Nick pushed him down on the bed slowly and crawled over him. "Feels good to be alone with you again…" He moved the hair out of Lucas's face.

"Mhmm…" Lucas leaned into Nick's hand tiredly, loving how the other's touch felt.
