"You realize I live alone… Right?" Vitalis asked and carried Brink along.

"No, no i didn't…." He flopped against Jay and tried his best to not move so much

Vitalis carried Brink out of the forest and to his home. It was a slight mess but that was fine. He put Brink on the couch.

Brink glanced around the room "homey" he muttered curling up on the couch

Vitalis nodded then grabbed a first aid kit and came back.

"ooohhhh…great….tell me there's Novocain….." he groaned, flinching away to the corner of the couch

"Um…. I don't believe I have any, lay on your stomach." Vitalis said and sighed.

Brink did as he was told and sighed “damn it.” He muttered

"deal with it" he said and poured rubbing alcohol on his wound.

Brink dug his nailed into the couch and bit down on his lip, making it bleed. He surpassed a low growl and squeezed his eyes shut.

"Bite the pillow." Vitalis sighed as he stared wiping the wound a bit.

"nope, already bit my lip…" he relaxed slightly once the pain subsided but still remained a bit tense

"No really, I'm about to start stitching you up. Just bite the pillow." He said and pulled out a needle and thread.

His eyes widened "you promised no needles!" he argued, snatching the pillow and biting down. "y-ou- s-ch a h-erk-" he muffled through the pillow

"No, I'm pretty sure I openly promised no hospitals. Also be nice to me, your nurse, your life is in my hands." Vitalis said and started stitching.

Brink whined "you sure you can't knock me out? I don't care if it's not with medications, I just don't want to experience the pain. You can punch me…" he suggested

Vitalis sighed then went to the bathroom then came back and handed Brink something, "Happy? Sniff it and sleep." it was a smelling salt.

Brink sniffed it cautiously and gagged. "i think I'd rather have you punch me…" he inhaled deeply, falling unconscious after a few moments

Vitalis rolled his eyes and stifled a laugh as he finished sewing Brink up then covered him in bandages.

Brink remained unconscious for the whole procedure. He started shifting awake a few hours later, muttering something about cats and ice cream sandwiches.

Vitalis was sitting on Brinks legs watching TV

Brink stirred awake and glanced behind him “you done already?” He asked tiredly

"Yep." He nodded and watched his show.

He groaned softly and pulled his legs out from under Vitalis. He turned in place and rested his head in Vitalis’s lap. “Thank you by the way.”

"Aww anytime." Vitalis nodded and petted Brink's hair. Vitalis was watching Winnie the Pooh for.some reason.

Brink's brow furrowed when he saw what show Vitalis was watching "My favorite is piglet…" he yawned and pulled the blanket over himself. "where did you find the time to learn basic medical procedures?"

"Medical school. Also My favorite is Eeyore." Vitalis said and nodded.

“He’s pretty cute too.” He glanced up and raised an eyebrow “you lived through medical school?”

"Not completely… But I did stay alive long enough everyday to go to classes." He said and laughed.

Brink nodded “wow, impressive. You actually paid attention?” He smirked teasingly
