((Well if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here!))
Face flushing, she sighed, and gently spoke. "Possibly, though don't you think that's a little bit private?" She teased, trying to gain the head of the conversation.
(Got it, thank you so much!)
"Well, if you don't want to talk about it, then I guess your right. I'll leave you alone. But any girl says that when they have done it." Ivory walked out with a smirk.
(Of course! :) )
Ira flushed completely, her heart pounding in her chest. Why was this bothering her so bad? She had no clue. Trying to cool herself, she pressed the backs of her cool hands to her cheeks. Glancing in the mirror, she noted her cheeks were only a soft pink, and not as red as she assumed.
"Ready in there!" Chariot asked. "Do think this is the one?"
Pulling her hands back from her face, she pushed the door open with a slight smile. "Don't think so, but still stunning like the last one."
"We need one that makes you sparkle and shows your truest self. Also, one that is comfortable." Charlotte suggested.
"Thank God for that." She hummed, laughing softly. "I mean, I think it looks gorgeous, but not the right one." She shrugged, twirling slightly in the gorgeous dress.
"But you seem to have a liking to it, so keep it in the dressing room and hand me the ones that you don't want." Rebecca smiled.
Smiling back, she turned back into the dressing room to pull two of the dresses out. "I think these two just don't fit." She hummed, holding them out.
Rebecca took them and gave them back to the lady. "Have you ever dreamt of your wedding day?"
“For so long…” Ira sighed dreamily, leaning against the wall slightly. “Though even in my wildest of fantasies, I never imagined I’d be getting married in Japan.”
"A marriage in Japan is quite festive. Have you ever dreamt about your dress?" Ivory asked.
"Some," She started, pushing off of the wall. "Though it's hard to put into words, if you get what I mean." Ira shrugged to finish off her statement. "I can do my best though."
"Hey, don't stress about it. Just pick the one that you like the most. The only one you should be impressing is you. It is your wedding too. Raven has no control over that." Ivory sighed. "Then again Raven is so in love with you that he'll probably think you'll look beautiful if you walk down the aisle in sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt."
Laughing back, she reached back and unzipped her dress. "Let me change, and we can keep looking." She hummed softly, pulling back from the door of the dressing room.
"So, tell us about you. I mean we have heard stories from Raven, but tell us about you." Chariot leaned on her twin.
"Well, that's a hard thing to go by." She hummed, changing out of the dress. "I guess, I grew up in Russia, with three brothers and my father. I like to go for walks to clear my head, I'm most relaxed when I'm alone or with Raven." A small smile pulled at her lips, as she pulled her shirt on. "I don't have a favorite color, or food. If I had to pick one for either, I might actually surprise you."
"Alright then, what's your favorite color and food? Also, are we done for today or are we searching for more dresses?" Charlotte asked.
"Maybe we could take a break," Ira admitted, glancing back to the dress. "But my favorites. Color, is orange. Food, is peanut butter. I know it's not technically a real food, but I like it."
"Interesting…you did surprise us. I thought your favorite color would be red. I have never met someone who likes orange. It does look good on paper thought when you draw with a marker." Ivory added.
"You're an artist?" She asked, trying not to laugh at the suggestion of the color red. For so long, she had only seen red, but slowly she found that orange was more of her favorite. It reminded her of sunsets, when she was out for walks by herself.
"A little. I'm not very good at it though." Ivory chuckled. "What about you? What do you do for a living."
"I bet you're a lovely artist." She smiled, tensing up at the next question. 'Oh yeah, I was an assassin for a living, before Raven proposed to me.' Didn't seem like the best thing to tell his sisters, 5 days before they were married. "You know, just this and that. I've had a few jobs here and there." She mentioned, not exactly lying.
"Alright, wanna pick this up tomorrow or keep going?" Chariot asked.
Feeling relieved she didn’t ask what they were, she looked back at the dress. “I think we should just come back tomorrow.”
"Sure thing. Save the dress of hang it back up?" Rebecca asked. The girls got up and stretched.
“Save it, if you wouldn’t mind.” She smiled, bringing it over to her.
"Of course," Ivory nodded and gave it to the owner to hold onto until tomorrow. "Let's get something to eat before we head home. Did Raven text you around what time he'll be done?"
"I… don't know." She said, checking her pockets for her phone. Finding it, she pulled it up to check the screen.
As if it was qued Raven had texted her. Be done in a bit. See you at home. Love you! Raven smiled at his phone and put it down on the seat.
