"Do you need help? Do you want to get away from him?" Brad asked low and quickly. "I don't care if we aren't dating anymore, I'm concerned about the way you get treated."

She shook her head "I'm doing this to myself have you noticed how much less does tigers are attacking how much less they're threatening you it's all because I'm hanging out with Felix because after everything you've done I still f** love you and I hate myself for it I wake up every morning and I think this is going to be better but it doesn't it never gets better does it Brad I haven't slept and I haven't eaten in weeks' she said. 'so no I don't need any help"

"I love you too, and I don't want you to suffer. Please, just let me help you, you've helped me enough." He frowned, standing back from her. "You need to start eating, you need to start sleeping, and if I help you, I'll make sure that gets to happen." He was dead serious. Even if she did half insult him in her mini speech, he was still up for protecting her if she needed it.

She laughs, "the slut thing didn't go away you just did but I mean it's for the best right? No one gets hurt this way right?. . . I don't need your help I'm perfectly capable managing myself and my broken heart thank you" she said

His face hardened, and his tone got cold. "I never wanted to leave you, but you were the one that walked away." He spat, remembering trying to call her, contact her, but she ignored him. "I called you, in attempt to apologize-" He paused, filtering his thoughts. 'For nothing at all.' His brain mumbled, so he wouldn't say it put loud. "But you ignored me. This is your fault I left, you decided to walk away."

"you acted as if you didn't even care instead of facing our problems together like an actual boyfriend and girlfriend you wanted to hide them away from the rest of the school from the rest of the world and I couldn't deal with that I just couldn't and I know and you know that if we broke up pretend that broke up the every girl net school would be all over you and I couldn't bear to watch that because I fucking love you more than my own life I didn't care about the snake thing I just wanted you that's all I wanted' she yelled as tears formed

"Then why didn't you just tell me that?!" He yelled back, he asked standing tall. "You didn't say any of that! You just said goodbye and walked off instead of telling me what was and wasn't going on! You don't tell me these things Caroline, you don't, so how am I suppose to just know?!" His voice not screaming, but at a pretty loud tone. "I am not good at love, you have to tell me what I'm doing wrong, and what I'm doing right! But you didn't bloody tell me! So I didn't know!"

She took a step back scared of him the tears rolling down her cheeks clenching her hands into fists

He had finally blown off the steam, it seemed to just evaporate. Then he knew he had screwed up, so he toned down his voice, and avoided eye contact. "Sorry…"

She wiped the tears from her eyes, "I'll go sorry for bothering you" she said starting to leave

"You didn't bother me, I've just been bottling my emotions." He sighed, rubbing his face. At this point, his gang members had left, and were waiting outside, talking with Felix. So all was quiet inside. "I'm sorry for blowing up at you, please, just tell me what's going on."

" I'm miserable I miss you and I know it's my fault the Cuts are getting worse the one good thing in my life is gone so I just don't care I don't care about eating I don't care about sleeping I don't even care about what the guys do to me on the football team"

"Can I come back into your life, or are things too messed up now? Will you not?" He asked, wanting to go over and hug her, telling her things would get better.

"I love you and that's why I can't be around you because every time I see you I'm reminded how good I had it I can't be your friend" she said

"I meant romantically. I was honestly trying to help you, and I'd rather be beaten on a daily basis then keep living my life without you." He admitted, not mentioning his recent thoughts… they were too intense to talk about right now.

She ran a hand over her face her sleeve coming down showing the cuts

"Caroline, please, I really want you back. Not just because I'm jealous. Things have been rough without you." He whispered, catching sight of her cuts.

She looked at him with a raised eyebrow " jealous? Why are you jealous?" She asked

"Because of him! Because of Felix." He admitted, falling into a chair, and putting his head in his hands. "It's killing me, because I know 1.) it bothers you, and 2.) he might do something to you. Which he may have already."

She kneeled in front of him setting her hands on his knees " there's nothing to be jealous about' she said

"I don't think you understand exactly why I am…" He whispered, not meaning it in any nasty way. Just a state of fact.

She closed her eyes " I do and trust me as I was these guys I wished it was you…I missed you…I missed us"

"Then can I give you my heart again? And maybe try to not screw up?" He asked softly, lifting his eye to look at her.

She looked up at him through her lashes and nodded

"Are you being serious?" He asked her, sitting up straighter.

She leaned forward kissinng him gently

He kissed back, missing the feeling of her lips on his. They were special, and he felt deprived of them.

She smiled into the kiss missing his touch

"I love you~" He mumbled, pulling away some. "I was stupid."

" yes you were" she teased
