"Oh but if you never try you'll never know," Aliana was fighting herself as she sang. It didn't show much other than a slight waver in her voice, "Just what your worth."
"Oh but if you never try you'll never know," Aliana was fighting herself as she sang. It didn't show much other than a slight waver in her voice, "Just what your worth."
He bit his lip as he listened.
"Lights will guide you home. And ignite your bones. And I will try to fix you," Aliana sang that last line softly. She took a deep breath and leaned up to kiss Hatta gently on the lips. She really hoped this worked and he wasn't going to push her away.
Hatta stared at her, eyes wide.
Aliana pulled away after a few moments not being able to bring herself to look at Hatta. She shouldn't have done that.
Hatta inhaled, letting it out slowly.
Aliana whispered softly, "Sorry."
He shook his head slightly. "It's…fine."
"Are you sure?" Aliana glanced up at him. She could tell he still wasn't all there, but most of him was. She thought.
He shrugged. "I guess."
"Are you back?" Aliana asked him shyly. He seemed to be fairly coherent.
He shrugged again. "Mostly, maybe."
"Can I kiss you again?" Aliana asked looking up at him.
He nodded.
Aliana smiled and leaned up to kiss him again. She felt better knowing he was okay with this.
He kissed her back, smiling.
Aliana's heart soared a little. She was glad he was back, she was more glad she figured out how to get him back.
Hatta looked at her carefully.
Aliana pulled away smiling. She looked up at Hatta happily.
Hatta smiled back.
Aliana looked up and asked hopefully once more, "Are you back?"
He nodded slightly.
Aliana smile grew a little, "Good, I, I was scared for a moment."
Hatta smiled slightly.
"Are, are you ever going to respond?" Aliana asked tease lacing her voice.
He shrugged his shoulders.
Aliana was still smiling as she kept looking up at him. She finally noticed the sky turning to black as night began to creep up.
He smiled at her a little.
Aliana felt her heart rate spike as she realized soon it would be dark. She tried to keep her composure, "Should, should we make camp?"
Hatta frowned. "I don't know."
