"Or cough." he added, smirking a little as he looked over at Wilhelm.
"Or cough." he added, smirking a little as he looked over at Wilhelm.
“Again, you’re right. I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place of sorts, I suppose.” Wilhelm chuckled, running his fingers along the pillow’s seams.
He snickered again, looking at Wilhelm with a smile.
“I’m afraid I have to give you the victory, here. If you get sick, I don’t think O could do anything about it.” Wilhelm said simply, running his fingers through his hair. “Although, won’t you at least try not to?”
He grinned. "Good. An' yeah, ah'll try. Though ah cannae make any promises."
“Well, I appreciate it.” He laughed softly, tilting his head back and stretching.
He was smiling happily, still snuggled in the blankets.
Wilhelm looked outside, where the normal rainstorm had begun to morph into a thunderstorm. He grimaced at the sight of the dark clouds, drawing his knees in close to himself.
"Oh! Lightning!" Connor exclaimed, going to the window to look outside.
“Ha, yeah..” Wilhelm said weakly, rubbing his face. He jumped at a particularly sharp crack of thunder.
(I gtg. idk how much ill be on today, sorry)
Connor looked over, frowning a little. "Oh. Yeh dinnae like it." he said slowly. "Sorry."
(alright, bye! it’s no problem!)
Wilhelm nodded, running a wavering hand through his hair. “You don’t need to be sorry. There’s nothing you can do about it, it’s the weather.”
Connor nodded a little. "Yeah, bu' 't feels a bit cruel of me ta enjoy it when yeh are so uncomfortable."
Wilhelm gave him a bit of an odd look, an eyebrow raised. “How? We both like different things, that’s like- hypothetically, of course- you being afraid of the ocean and me feeling bad about liking the waves, isn’t it?”
"Yeah, bu' storms are a bit different." He shrugged, sitting down. "Ah just meant tha' ah feel a bit guilty for getting so weird about lightnin', when yer… obviously no' happy abou' 't."
“If that’s what you like, who am I to stop you?” Wilhelm raised his hands, although the sudden snap of thunder startled him greatly. “Motherf-! God, that’s bright.”
Connor shrugged a little. He frowned slightly when Wilhelm jumped, cautiously sitting down on Wilhelm's bed. "Yeh alrigh'?"
He let out a quiet sigh, rubbing his temples. “Yeah, yeah- I should be fine.”
He nodded a little, watching Wilhelm and unsure what to do. "Alright."
“Just give me a second, sorry.” Wilhelm laughed uncomfortably, pinching the bridge of his nose and taking a breath. “Sorry, sorry.”
"Nothin' ta apologize fer." He replied softly.
Wilhelm sat back on his bed, tipping his head upwards and taking another breath. He shut his eyes, flinching at another round of thunderclaps.
He bit his lip, unsure of what to do. "Is there anything ah can do ta make it better?"
Wilhelm took a moment to respond. “This is an odd request, I know, but do you mind just.. being here? I don’t really know how to phrase it.” He let out a shaking, choppy laugh.
He raised an eyebrow, but nodded. "Yeah, no problem." He ran a hand through his curls. He sneezed again, turning away from Wilhelm and covering his nose.
“Bless you. I hope this isn’t you getting sick.” He said quietly, although with more humor than his past few words. “Because you’re sitting on my bed, and that would be awful.”
He chuckled. "Mm. Ah told yeh, ah'll make sure ta sneeze everywhere."
“Ugh, that’s so gross!” Wilhelm exclaimed, looking at Connor with a smile on his face. “Really, that’s awful!”
He grinned. "Ah know yeh are, bu' wha' am ah?" He replied with a smirk.
Wilhelm rolled his eyes, though he was unable to suppress a stupid grin from spreading across his face. “Apparently you’re a child, Connor.”
