"Whichever you want, I really couldn't care less." She cooed, relaxing into her boyfriend.
"Whichever you want, I really couldn't care less." She cooed, relaxing into her boyfriend.
"Okay we'll try some of both." he decided, her affection causing him to shift back into his anthro form as they made their way over, his tail wagging as she pressed against him "You're the best thing to happen to me you know?"
"I didn't, but I do now." She hummed, still relaxing into his arms. 'Man… I'm so tired…' Her thoughts groaned, as she blinked, having her eyes grow heavier.
Tempest defiantly noticed her drowsiness and asked "You wanna head back soon? I can get a refund on the bowling if you're still tired from the party sweet stuff." he gave her cheek a tiny little kiss
“No, no you-“ She paused, yawning. Opening her eyes, she looked at him guiltily. “Maybe…”
He smiled a bit and kissed her forehead "Say no more my love." he told her and got the refund rather easily, even if he was given a funny look by in his anthro form. He walked her to the car and helped her in.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to spoil anything." She mumbled, pulling one of her knees up to her chest. She felt bad for making him leave, hoping he wasn't too disappointed. "I love you."
"You're fine Joanna." he tried to assure her softly "Last night was crazy and we stayed up pretty late." He got into the driver's side after closing her door and leaned over, giving her another kiss. "I love you too"
A light smile was on her lips, and she looked over to him. Her eyes looked tired, the dark circles underneath not helping the situation. "I still feel bad." She hummed, her eyes falling closed.
"Don't…you need sleep hun." he told her as they pulled out and started on the way back home
Her eyes snapped open, and she looked to him. "I'll be fine, promise. There's no need to worry 'bout me." She told him, smiling to try and cover her sleepiness.
Soon enough they pulled into their apartment parking lot "You can't fool me sweetheart." he chuckled as he helped his girlfriend from the car and up the stairs of the apartment building
"I'm not trying to! I'm fine." She argued, sticking her lower lip out. "Really Temp, I'll be perfectly fine. You don't have to baby me…" Jo said, not pulling away from him. Secretly, she kinda loved him treating her like so.
"Aw but I like babying you." he grinned a bit, his ears perked up as he poked her cheek
"I'm not a little kid though…" She continued to pout, crossing her arms over her chest. "Besides, you can't make me take a nap, you aren't my mother."
"You're right…I'm your boyfriend which means I gotta take care of you and make sure you're happy, so we'll do what you want." He assured her with a smile
"I didn't mean that either!" She pouted more, leaning into Tempest. "We really don't have to Temp."
"But…" he let out a little huff "What do you wanna do?"
"Don't make me decide, please I'm terrible at making decisions." She hummed, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend. "It's up to you handsome."
"Let's just…relax for a while." He told her, taking her hand "My place again I guess."
"Either is fine. I don't want to bore you." She mumbled, relaxing into his arms. "I have video games."
"I do too…let's go to your place…and baby you never bore me." He quickly picked her up and swung her around in his arms with a laugh
"Eep! Tempest!" She squeaked, flushing at the nickname. Her face was pink, but she had a bright smile on her face.
He put her down and took her hand all the way down the hall until they reach Joanna's door
Unlocking the door, she turned back to him. "Sorry, my apartment is a mess from the rush of yesterday." She mumbled, pushing the door open to display a semi messy room.
"That's okay love" Tempest assured her as hr entered "Not as messy as mine was last week."
"Just move things around if they're in your way." She mumbled, kicking off her shoes and walking through her apartment and towards her room. "Make yourself at home."
Tempest flopped onto her couch and a relaxed sigh "To be honest I was glad you wanted to come home…I'm burnt out too." he lets out a little yawn. "I was just too stubborn to admit it."
"Oh is that so?" Joanna called out, changing into something more comfortable. A plain large T-shirt and a pair of shorts. Once changed, she walked back out into the living room. "So you just used me as your excuse?"
He tried to keep a straight face "Perhaps."
