She resummoned the small flame.
Rosalaine nodded. "And hiding my identity is difficult. I'll usually just introduce myself as Rose, since Rosalaine is a very distinguishable name. I'd be found out immediately."
"Yeah I know," Cicada sighed, "Same with Cicada so I normally go with Katy."
"Are you royalty? Or just on the run?"
"On the run," Cicada lied.
"Hmm.." Lying? Perhaps… "Any family that you know of?"
"Most of them died a while back," Cicada could honestly say that much, "Got lucky and lived through the experience."
"Really? Well, as you know, my parents are alive and well. It'd cause a few problems if they died, obviously. Authority and responsibility, something like that."
"Wouldn't you just become queen?" Cicada asked her.
"Probably… But I doubt I could govern a whole race." She shrugged. "I simply don't have enough experience, and I'd be forced to get married so there would be a king."
"You wouldn't have to get married," Cicada responded, "What about Queen Emery of Mer. She rules by herself."
"Maybe, but Elves usually have a king. He holds quite a bit of the power, and anyways, I doubt I'd be able to do it alone."
"Well then," Cicada responded, "Maybe you're going on the adventure to get those silly thoughts out of your head."
"I hope it will. I worry about it quite often."

Tay rubbed at his eyes, "I'm not a man, I'm an enchantress! And if you don't let me go back to sleep, I'll cast a curse on you!" he kicked his legs and flapped his wings, trying to get out of the soldier's grasp.
"Settle down!" they reached the dining room, with Tae-Min kicking and flailing and screaming and flapping his wings wildly.
