Joanna had showered, brushed her hair and teeth, done her makeup, and gotten dressed in record time. About twenty minutes, and she was fully ready. Her maroon colored hair was pulled up into a ponytail, and she wore a light blue blouse and black jeans with rips in the knees. She had tall Converes that reached her knees, laced up all the way. Once fully ready, she locked her door and knocked on Tempest's.
Another fruitless attempt at combing his unruly hair was interrupted by the knock on his door. He spit out the mouthwash he had been swishing and grabbed his car keys. He opened his door and smiled at the pretty lady standing before him. "Ready to go gorgeous?"
She giggled pecking his lips. "Well, I'm ready to go but are you? Because you just asked yourself." She joked, taking his hand.
He smiled brightly and shut his door behind himself. Tempest gives her a full smooch and then squeezes her hand as they walk to the stairs "Oh you."
She flipped her hair dramatically, and laughed. "I know, I'm hilarious." Joanna joked once more, leading him down the steps.
"That's why I love you." He commented as they made their way down to the parking lot. He shrunk down to his human form as they went outside.
"How far away is this place?" She hummed, wrapping her arms around herself, mentally cursing herself for forgetting a jacket. It was quite chilly in the December air.
"Just a couple minute drive or fifteen minute walk." he told her, offering either. He looked around and saw the parking garage was empty and shifted back into his canine form to warm his girlfriend back up
She wrapped her arms around his waist, nodding slightly. “Sounds like a good plan, maybe we could drive.”
"Fine by me." Tempest responded as they approached his car. HE unlocked it and like he did most the time opened and held the passenger side for Jo
“Thanks babe.” She chirped getting into the car with a bright smile. Her eyes seemed a brighter green with the light blue shirt on, making her seem oddly more happy.
He shut the door behind her. Joanna's smile was contagious and soon Tempest was smiling widely too. He got into his car and pulled out of the parking lot.
"Mind if I pick out the music?" She asked, pulling her phone and going to Spotify. "I don't have to."
"Go on ahead I don't mind." he told her with a encouraging smile
She nodded, turning on the bluetooth and connecting her phone. "I've got two playlist. Are we feeling R&B or peppy music?" She inquired.
"peppy sounds fun." he chuckled as he was feeling a bit peppy himself
Joanna nodded, tapping the playlist and then shuffle. The song loaded, and it turned out to be Toxic by Britney Spears, and she laughed some. "I forgot I even had his song on here."
His head nodded to the song and he couldn't help it as a grin broke across his face.
"You're a Britney fan?" She asked with a brow raised, and a slight smirk. "I really expected more from you."
"I mean the beat is pretty nice, and plus the only thing I don't like is rap." He explained "Yet again rap's beat is great but the lyrics are not nice."
Chuckling she leaned over and kissing his cheek. "You're too innocent for this world." She hummed, pulling away. "There is some rap that isn't all bad."
"yeah old rap isn't that bad." he agreed, blushing at her comment and kiss.
"I know some current rappers that aren't awful, ever heard of NF?" She inquired, turning down the radio.
"No I haven't…so he isn't like the rest of the rappers everyone knows?" he asked as they pulled into the Station 300 parking lot.
She shook her head, leaning over to rest her head on his shoulder. “Nope, you should look him up.”
"I will thanks for letting me know hot stuff." He smiled a bit and gave Joanna a nice sweet kiss, brushing some hair from her face as he did
Her face flushed, and she pulled away to cover her face. "Tempest~" She whined, trying to cover her face so he couldn't see.
"Sorry I just can't help it." He grinned as he undid his seat belt "You ready?"
Pulling her hands away, she nodded softly. "Yeah, as I'll ever be."
"You're really cute when you get all flustered." Tempest commented as he got out of the driver's side
