The form of an eagle was seen from the sky, holding a heart-shaped item in it’s talons. The eagle had a smile on it’s face, but it wasn’t a friendly smile, it was more of an evil smile.

Looks at the eagle and my anger starts to come over me "growls"
(Did you just say “growls” out loud?)
He glanced at where the sound had come from, seeing it was just a bird, he looked back, only to double-take when it was holding Spinel.
(“Growl.”)
The eagle lands on a tree, holding the heart-shaped gem very close, while scanning the area with it’s beady little eyes.
“Amethyst, that eagle has Spinel’s gem!” Steven whispered to her, making very slight movement to motion towards it.
(One of my teachers used to say growl whenever she was frustrated)
(Omg-)
(Oh gosh.)
It’s eyes finally landed on Steven, looking at straight at him with the most angriest look in history. The eagle looked at the gem and actually tried to eat it.
Steven squinted at it in disbelief, did that bird think it could eat a rock??? A rock that covers most of the owners chest???? A big rock?????? He just stared at it, confused as all hell. All it did was give off a ‘tink’ every dumb peck. “Amethyst……? I think the bird is trying to eat it.”
It continued trying to eat it, but then quickly realized that it wasn’t possible. The bird removed it’s beak from the gem. The gem was completely covered in bird saliva.
Steven held out his hand expectedly, giving the bird a blunt look. “Just hand it over.”
(Oops, lemme edit it.)
(Lmao)
(Okay, there.)
The eagle titled it’s head in confusion, but somehow managed to tighten it’s grip on the gem, like if it was the only thing that mattered in the world. It was clear that the eagle was not going to give the gem to Steven anytime soon.
“Guess it’s just an eagle that likes shiny things…” He sighed, figuring if it tried to fly off, he would just fling his shield at it.
(Um…I guess Nightfall's not choking anymore…but she's unconcious and in some random place I guess…I don't really know…)
Amethyst waved her fist in the air at the bird. "HEY! Thats my friend you birdbrain!!" She shouted at the eagle.
(I don't know where I am…help………)
(Same dude)
“You should handle this, Amethyst, you’re the one with a whip. That and Spinel will definitely thank you.” Steven admitted.
But as if it had been summoned, the gem started to glow, trying to yank itself out of the bird’s talons.
(>.<)
Before the gem could form into spinel, amethyst used her whip to snatch the gem from the bird and gently set it down.
(I guess Nightfall's at like….their…safe house or something…?)
Steven seemed releaved, but glared at the eagle as if to say ‘bad bird.’
The gem floated up, and a light covered outline appeared, but something was off, the heart had turned right-side up. The outline, instead of being sharp like the Spinel they knew, was smaller, smaller than Amethyst! And everything seemed nicer. Maybe Amethyst’s help made her form softer? More friendly?
(Lets say she was dropped off in a safe clearing)
(Ok.)
Nightfall's ice blue eyes flickered open. She sat up and rubbed her head. What happened…? She looked around and found herself in an empty clearing. What had happened to Steven and Amethyst, and Spinel? The dragoness stood up and turned around, scanning the whole clearing. Where did they go?
Amethyst looked amazed at spinel's new form, smiling and glad that she was okay.
As Spinel came floating to the ground, she smiled, but her attention was immediately on Steven. She grinned up at him and hugged his arm. What was even more unexpected was the fact that she said “Hello! I’m your new best friend, Spinel!!” In a very childish tone.
Steven looked completely surprised, staring down at her before looking to Amethyst questioningly.
