Nick laughed quietly, “You kinda seemed a little amused…”

"Oh, no. I was pissed. I honestly didn't know I could feel that angry."

“Well, it was a little hot no gonna lie. Little turned on,” he whispered. “Don’t carried away though.”

Lucas blushed and looked away, embarrassed. "I… You mentioned you kinda had a thing for me swearing in the hospital."

“Yeah…” he laughed. “You’re very hot when you swear.” Nick listened the teacher.
“Nick! Why are you not taking notes. You miss days of school, you come back, and goof off.” The teacher called.

Lucas was busy writing notes himself, planning on reading them aloud to Nick later. At the teacher's comment, he looked over at Nick nervously.

“S-Sir, I’m blind…” he said looking like he was starring off into space even though he was trying to look at the teacher.

Lucas looked back up at the teacher, seeming annoyed now that the man was upsetting Nick.

“Yeah sure, you weren’t blind a couple weeks ago..” he shook his head and started teaching again.
“Lucas, don’t get upset,” Nick warmed.

Lucas was already speaking. "Sir, with all due respect, you must be stupid, ignorant, or both. Surely news has got around to you? Or can no one stand you enough to be bothered to stick around long enough to give you news of the events in this school?"

(shrugs)
Nick kept silent and hid his face in his arms.
“I’m sorry, but who’s the teacher and who’s the student here?” He turned around.

"I'm not sure, sir, considering neither of us seems to be learning much." Lucas hummed idly, resting his chin on his knuckles. He could feel the stares of his classmates on him. "Besides, he had a doctor's note. A note he gave to you that you failed to read."

The teacher broke the chalk. “Lucas. Principal Office. Now.” He looked pissed.
Nick took his head out from his arms. “Do I have to go too?”

"Yes, sir." Lucas replied calmly, taking Nick by the hand and starting to head over to the door.

Nick stumbled a little bit as he pulled him. “You don’t have to pull so hard,” he whispered.

"Sorry, love…" Lucas replied gently, leading Nick to the principal's office. He was still pissed, though he was starting to get a little anxious as well.

“Are you okay? You seem off lately. It May be because I always see you smiling and laughing when I say something stupid. I’ve just never seen you this…angry,” he looked worried.

"Sorry, I… I think I'm just stressed, and I have to protect you… if they won't leave you alone of their own accord, I'll make them."

“So am I kind of a burden on you. I didn’t choose to be blind you know…” he sighed playing with his hands nervously.

"You're not a burden, darling. If anything, I'm a burden to you. Now, c'mon." Lucas stepped into the office.

The Principal looked up and sighed. “What’s going on why are you two here?”

"Mr. (Name) was being rude to Nick for not taking notes even though we gave him the doctor's note that explained that Nick is blind." Lucas explained. "He didn't believe Nick when he told him, so I defended Nick. Mr. (Name) wasn't particularly pleased with me."

The Principal sighed. “I’ll talk to him. Head back to class. Call him here for me will you?” He asked.

"Yes, sir." Lucas stood up and brought Nick back to the classroom. "Mr. (Name), the principal would like to see you." He told the teacher upon walking in.
