Lotus shrugged as they continued to walk, "Decent. Felt a lot more awake after the nap."
Lotus shrugged as they continued to walk, "Decent. Felt a lot more awake after the nap."
Cat nodded. “That’s good,” she said walking close to Lotus.
Lotus grinned and they silently reached for Cat's hand, "Yep."
Cat smiled and bit her lip slightly. She played with their fingers slightly. She swung their hands between them.
Lotus grinned at Cat's actions. They were fine with this, they probably shouldn't be, but they were fine.
Cat kept on walking. Fiddling with Lot's fingers. She smiled wide and stopped the swinging.
Lotus began to fiddle with Cat's fingers in return. They had a big grin on and turned again down another street.
She wanted to start up a conversation but she couldn't think of anything. She tightened her grip slightly.
Lotus felt the grip tighten and looked over at Cat, "What's up?"
"Nothing," She said smiling. "I'm just realizing that I'm not very good at the whole conversation thing." he looked at the ground slightly as they walked.
"Neither am I," Lotus laughed slightly and looked up at the sky. they let out a sigh, "But I've learned over the years."
Cat nodded. "Sometimes I'm good at it but that's when I'm usually not me," She said smiling.
Lotus nodded along and grinned, "I get that. I really do."
Cat looked up at them. "thanks," She said without completely understanding what exactly she's saying thanks for.
"Your welcome," Lotus smiled down at Cat. They were careful to not make eye contact.
Cat stood close to them. Leaving about an inch between. "I like talking with you," she said avoiding eye contact as well.
"I, I like talking to you as well," Lotus admitted looking away from Cat with their eyes. They noticed how close they were at the moment.
Cat nodded swinging their hands slowly again. She ribbed their hand with her thumb. "good because I don't want to stop."
Lotus smiled and felt and their cheeks started to tinge pink. They looked back towards the road, "Neither, neither do I."
Cat looked straight forward aswell. She kept her head up and hands loosely holding theirs.
Lotus turned and walked up to a pretty simple two-story house with a pale blue paint job on the outside. They looked to Cat, "Well, this, is, my house."
"It looks nice," She said smiling up at the house. She then looked over at them. "Thanks for inviting me over."
"It's nothing," Lotus shrugged as they opened the door, "We can work in my room since Myrah is less likely to bother us that way."
Cat followed them in. She looked around as they walked inside. Holding their hand. "That sounds right," She said.
Lotus lead Cat up to their room. It was messy as all hell was probably the first thing that could be seen. Next was the three monitor set up they had literally right next to their bed. In fact, the chair was at a perfect place that if Lotus fell asleep they would fall right onto the bed. Other than that their room was just a lot of bookshelves and the like. Lot rubbed the back of their neck, "Sorry for the mess."
“It’s ok it’s not that bad,” Cat said smiling. She looked around the room and then back at Lotus. She let go of their hand so she could take off her bag.
Lotus took their bag off and sat down on the bed. They pulled out their laptop and English notebook, "If you say so. So we're doing Pandora's box right? Box is an inaccurate word, it was more like a vase."
Cat nodded. “Yeah I’ve heard jar,” She said sitting down next to Lotus. She sat close so she could see her laptop.
"Yeah," Lotua nodded and pulled up a new doc to use and work with. The first thing down was not a box, "That always bothered me. It's a jar, not a box."
"It was probably the translation," She said. "Or they thought pandora's box sounded better than pandora's jar." She looked at the laptop screen.
