One of my mom's soaps that I sometimes watch with her is dealing with some strange sci-fi shit at the moment.

Some doctor somehow managed to transfer another person's personality and memories onto a microchip, which he put into another living person's brain. The living person then took on the identity of the person on the chip.

And another doctor is attempting to remove the chip, which has some complications as she could possibly kill the guy…. The doctor that put the chip there even attached a tampering-triggered bomb to the chip.

So, lady doc can either risk killing a single person, whom she cares for deeply, or risk killing everyone in the OR!
