Lotus laid back and used Cat as a pillow as they fell asleep into a nap. They were so damn tired.
Cat smiled at the feeling of them on her. She slowly drifted off. An arm still around Lotus. Her other hand somehow found its way into their hair.
Lotus hummed at the feeling in their sleep. They continued to sleep up until the bell rang. When the bell rang they blink a few times and then noticed they were practically curled up around Cat.
Cat kept sleeping. Her arms were wrapped around Lotus. She kept them close to her. Her eyes where lightly closed and her features more relaxed than before.
Lotus was very careful as they shook Cat slightly. They noticed how close the pair was and it wasn't like they didn't enjoy it, they just needed to remind themselves to keep a distance, "Cat the bell rang."
Cat slowly opened her eyes and then sat right up. She slowly unwrapped her arms around Lotus. "Sorry I swear I'm usually a light sleeper," She said smiling lightly. She looked at Lotus making sure not to make eye contact.
Lotus smiled and slowly scooched away from Cat. They sat up and looked ahead rather than at Cat, "It's fine. So we're on for tonight?"
Cat nodded. She noticed them move farther away. She bit her lip. “Yeah I’ll meet you at the front doors?” She asked.
"Sounds good," Lotus looked back at Cat with a side grin. They stood up and put their bag around them. They waited for Cat, "Come on, don't want to be late."
Cat nodded and stood up. She grabbed her bag it was slightly squished from sleeping on it.
Lotus started to make their way back, but they didn't know the exact path from their lack of sleep. They looked to Cat for help.
Cat smiled and took her hand leading her back to the entrance of the locker room. Everyone has already left for there next class.
"Thanks," Lotus responded when they were at the entrance. They saw the time and felt a slight panic start to rise, "I'll see you after school."
Cat nodded. ”yeah see you,” she said letting go and waving goodbye.
Lotus gave her a wave and sped walked to class. They made it in just before the bell rang.
Cat was late to her next class but only by a couple minutes. At the end of the school day she waited at the front entrance.
Lotus exited the building and saw Cat out front. They gave Cat a grin, "Ready to go?"
Cat nodded smiling back. “Yep!” She said standing right next to them. She texted someone really quick and then looked at Lotus.
Lot grinned and walked towards the sidewalk. They looked to Cat, "My place right?"
Cat nodded once again and followed. “Yeah how far do you live?” She asked walking beside them.
"It's about a fifteen-minute walk," Lotus responded looking back to the sidewalk, "So it shouldn't take long."
“Great lead the way!” She said sticking close to them. Her hand way lightly swinging and free but she didn’t go to hold Lotus’s.
Lotus grinned and kept walking. They had a light smile on, "So did you last the rest of the day?"
“Yep well I half fell asleep in history but I always do that. I’m not really tired anymore,” she said smiling and walking beside them.
"Good," Lotus nodded before they yawned, "Because I'm basically running on caffeine."
Cat nodded again. “Good to know. If you want you can go home and take a nap and I’ll come by later,” she suggested.
"No, I'll be fine," Lotus gave her a smile. They stretched a little before putting their hands in their pocket, "I got another hour in me till I crash."
“Good we can get most of it done before then,” she said smiling more. She brother her hand up to hold the strap of her bag.
"Yep," Lotus nodded and let out a sigh. They smiled again and turned down a street.
Cat followed. “So how was the rest of your day?” She asked.
